I think so mainly because last year he had that lingering quad injury and the only real solution to soft tissue injuries is rest, so I think he benefits more than most from the extended layoff and he comes out ready to go this year.

I am going to hold up hope that Culver continues his progression from last spring/winter. Here is my current projected depth minus Beasley.

Russell, ???, J-Mac
Culver, Okoge
????, Valentine, Layman
????, Hernangomez, Johnson
Towns, ????, Reid

We know Rosas is constantly big game hunting. That's always a wild card when trying to plan. He could have a big trade already lined up and is waiting to make side moves. Who knows. I cannot see us planning on starting two rookies given the continued rhetoric about time lines. Would we start one? Honestly I don't know. Economically, I am not sure how creative we can be. So, for example, would something like a S&T with Beasley and the 1 to New Orleans for Ingram and Johnson and the 17 to Orlando for Gordon even be doable?

If they trade for Westbrook, I could see this happening.

Thibs will double their Win total this year and in the process, set that flailing franchise back another 10 years.

lakers waste no team on building a repeat team. We should identify our MLE target..Joe Harris? Avery Bradley? would Jerami Grant and Serge Ibaka accept the MLE? Lol..they might be guaranteed a starting spot.
