The vibe in here feels like the presidential election. Up down up down up. These no sources writers know what they do. They throw some bs out there and use slick words so they can say “I said from what I gathered”.

He is not a #1 option, but think he can be a really good complimentary type player. I love his passing and vision too. Think he fits in really well next to a lot of players including RJ and Mitch so it gives us a lot of versatility with how we build. We would still need to find a primary/#1 option, who likely needs the ball. But no matter who we draft we will probably need that type of player anyway.

He does have his flaws, but they can be covered for and his strengths are things that would be of great value to pretty much every team that wants to compete.

If they trade for Westbrook then they are likely trading up for Obi as well. He's a win now rookie that we like so if they decide to pull the trigger on Westbrook then there is no point in getting a young project that needs time to develop. We gotta go all in at that point
