Green's career will be going down hill after he leaves the system.
Donkeymond Green finishing his career for the Cavs gives me the happys. Nothing is more fitting than him spending the rest of his time in NBA Siberia.
Four years left on his deal - about $100m
I can see the Knicks wanting him with Thibodeau maybe
Just not sure the market will be there for a guy who really was right for that system
But the report says a third team - so it won't be Cleveland.
Love to the Warriors
Randle and Gibson/Ellington to the Cavs - and maybe a pick from NYK
Green to the Knicks
Cavs get major cap relief

He might actually enjoy being in the city of NYC (not that playing for the Knicks would be nice). It'd be funnier watching him in CLV. Maybe he can take up a Browns game and hang out with Baker

"If you're going to spend everything on that new car" <-- That's a little scary... If Jones and Bower walk into a dealership and buy a decked-out Corvette do they not only pay sticker price but also take up the finance guy on all of his offers?

I mean if going all in on an overpriced 2008 low mileage Corvette, and thinking they are going to win a race against a 2020 Ferrari, go for it. Just don’t be surprised when the outcome doesn’t involve a win.

I thought of the Hawks with the Schlenk connection - but they have John COllins already at the 4 and plenty of wings recently drafted. Huerter, Hunter. Plus they have a guy in Capela too.
Maybe Charlotte if they get Westbrook - though conflicting reports about whether they want a clean cap in 2021 or not. They have some contracts they can offload for cap space. plus can space to absorb Draymond easily
Cleveland: Batum
GSW: Love
Charlotte; Green
Can they trade Zeller and Rozier plus who knows - not sure if they can do the old Keith Van Horn sign and trade - sign him for one year - to get Westbrook
The thing with Charlotte - you might have the cap space but where wll you be on the list to get players
Can you imagine Draymond and Westbrook on the same team.

Yes, Presti, who got a ton of picks for George and a ton of picks swapping Westbrook for Paul, making a deal with 2nd year GM James Jones....you think he won't work us on this trade? We will likely give up a lot more than we have to. We should call his bluff if they want the 10.
It will be interesting to see how this team does if Paul is out with an injury for awhile like he typically is.
Kerrsed wrote:Read a couple of Hawk Fansites (This being one of them) talking about how they should be the ones going after Oubre. At first i found it interesting because of their inclusion of the #6 pick and reading about how he would actually be a really good fit in Atlanta, but they totally lost me when i later read that they think they can give up #6 and have the capspace to absorb Oubres contract without sending anyone back to net them Kelly.......and our #10.
They then say that the #6 would go to OKC for us to get CP3. Yeah NO.
But i do find Oubres fit in Atlanta really intriguing for both of them and the fact they can take him on without sending out salary is making me start to look at new 4 team trades with them included. Im getting ready to start rocking the trade machine to see who else in the East would value Rubio (Orlando is first up) and start plugging away with us/OKC/ATL.

I would think its going for a player that has some pull to convince free agents to sign there once he gets traded, the system of backdoor deals between players where it would be tampering for organizations to do so prior to the free agency period.

BINGO!
Its working the system within the system. Suns FO knows that CP3 has a lot of pull with players and will have him use that to our advantage.

Does he have any two guard friends that can shoot? Belinelli, Courtney Lee ...
