Hey Fam... I am really not into this, this season. I'll do it if you can't find another body, but I'm probably not going to be that connected to this.

Opened the app and saw KJG posting in a dynasty league. Didn't read the title completely and got lost in the convo until I realized I was in a Suns' thread lol

LOL. I'm not actually in the Suns Dynasty League, but I do participate in their top redraft roto league every year since 2012. Back then, they were one of the few forums doing off-line drafts on RealGM and needed a villain willing to draft Kobe. :D

I propose we contract.

10 man league, have a draft between ourselvez out of the two rosters KJG poster above.

Random order, snake draft. Two rounds it will be enough, 20 players out of two rosters is more than we will need, the rest will enter the FA pool.

We have a history of replacement guys who did not stick to the league. Most of the guys who replaced original members have quit after 1 year.(Kilroy, Gus McRae, lakersd etc. )

10 teams, same roster size, same rules(6 team playoff). FA pool will vastly improve as well.
I am even in favor of more players to a roster should we contract, since its an asterisk season. Less games, more back to backs, more players who will load manage or contract covid at some point, without a bubble. We need a deep ass roster to account for these things, 2 ILS wont be enough.

Smh. They would get an outsider just to take Kobe. So like them to.

If we can't find two willing participants this might be something I would consider. And I usually hate 10 man leagues.

Also in favor of this move. Leaning towards increasing roster size to accommodate more players due to the shortened season.

Although, there's no looking back once we do this. I can't imagine us doing expansion drafts once getting a hold of those high profile ones from those two other teams.

Welcome! Along with Wavy Q's team, you have inherited two picks in our upcoming rookie/free agent draft.

Draft order for non-playoff teams will be determined via lottery, with your first round pick somewhere between 1 and 6, and your 2nd round pick falling between 19 to 24. (When using a draft pick, you will need to drop someone to make roster space, and If you don't want to use to a pick, you can trade or just forfeit it.)

When drafting, please keep in mind that the league is H2H not Roto, and we are a dynasty league allowing up to 17 keepers. (Our dynasty teams rosters are larger than normal to accommodate carrying deadweight rookies. A common H2H strategy is to punt one or two stat categories that your team is weak in to maximize weekly matchups results. As a consequence of larger rosters, the free agents waiver wire player pool can be shallow and highly competitive, so trades and drafting take on increased importance if you want to change or upgrade your team.)
