you don't get rid of RJ just because you draft Okoro...but they also shouldn't take Okoro b/c the fit w/ RJ
RJ would go #1 in this draft and he is a far better player than Okoro. Okoro is the better defender, RJ is better at pretty much everything else
I actually think Okoro could turn out to be better than RJ. He's the better defender so we already have that. I think he'll be just as good around the rim if not better, he's more explosive than RJ, RJ perhaps a marginally better passer but Okoro has some upside there as well, and neither can make shots or free throws very well but if I had to pick one of them as more likely to improve on the shot I think I'd say Okoro because his form looks less broken to me than RJs does. Okoro can also finish with both hands instead of just his left hand like RJ.
yeah I dont think Okoro will be better than RJ. RJ in HS, College, and for Canada was a prolific scorer. he's wired to score in a way that Okoro isn't. RJ's also a better rebounder and passer.
I expect that w/ better spacing, RJ's 2 point efficiency will increase b/c he won't have to drive into a crowded paint. he's very strong for his age and showed the ability to finish through contact and get the and1 (hitting the FT....different story)
RJ is an underrated athlete, he's explosive himself and he
