Miami's going to be a completely different team next year.

I don't know, Bishop. James Harden, Joel Embiid and Josh Richardson, then you sign Wesley Matthews and a good left-handed defender who can shoot the ball from beyond the arc and Philadelphia gets dangerous. The Beard playing for the 76ers makes perfect sense.

I have zero expectations for NJ. I've written Durant off. If he comes back and does something then I'll be surprised.

Herro is better than Booker, is a better defender and has a rookie salary. It won't happen while Pat is in charge. The teams that have no chance of winning are cutting as much salary as possible and they all want our Herro.

If KD's healthy, I don't see it. Those two together would be a mismatch disaster for other teams. Biid's good, but he's not carrying a team like KD can/has

The offense will be insane and virtually unstoppable, and let's not forget Kyrie Irving in any way. Health and defense are my concerns. KD is going to be slower and more hesitant than his old self, not the same defender. Kyrie is a bad defender and Harden is average in that department.

Yea', health given, that's a formidable team. Not Myrie's health, but KD's. Otherwise, it's sketchy. Totally worth it for BK tho

Looking leaner & (hopefully) stronger. Hopefully he doesn’t hit a sophomore slump!

I'm not sure Herro is "better" then Booker, Herro's ceiling is basically Booker 2.0.

It would feel like a gut punch trading Herro after this season though.

He did.

I like it, He needs to get quicker on D to stay in front of his man.

We're writing Nunn off like he didn't just us a 16 PPG in his rookie year.

The kid can ball and he'll be better then most of the guards selected in the first round next year.

No love for Boladipo DOM?

Booker is what we pray Herro becomes, but for some reason I just don't want to trade Herro for him. Weird.

I do think there's something to be said about home grown talent making the team stronger then a bunch of mercenaries. And not just stronger, also...more meaningful to the fans and the history of the game and franchise.

I might be the only one, But If we could trade the entire team right now and get Durant + Harden + Kyrie ( Title favorites on paper) - I wouldn't want it. What would that title really feel like to us? To me it will be almost joyless, Would probably feel a big emotional disconnect between the results (positive) and the path (empty).

Completely agree w/ everything you said, sir. This is how i felt when ledouche came here. Those 2 titles are meaningless to me. I need 2 or more for the ones he robbed me of...and i'd like @ least 1 of them acquired by defeating him - Poetic justice....
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

I really wanted to see him workout with former players on techniques, fundamentals and understanding plays. His problems were mental, bad positioning and bad angles etc. Learn how to use his size as an advantage not a disadvantage etc.

That'd only be our B team. You should see the A team.

I’m not sure Id go that far with the LeBron thing, but beating him would be sweet.

Herro grew up loving the Heat, and he just feels right. Given that he’s balling and putting in hard work in the lab, he is Heat to the core. Trading him will always feel wrong, but there are deals out there were we’d have to pull the trigger.

Would Miami have interest in DeMar DeRozan or LaMarcus Aldridge to preserve 2021 cap space, but upgrade the talent of the 2020-21 season?

It would depend on the cost. LMA is probably more desirable for us than DD, with Leonard likely gone. But it would probably require KO/Iggy to go out for salary balance. So the question would then be asset cost - considering he’s a 1-year rental, I wouldn’t be expecting it to be high.
