I think he's a passing defender and with his high IQ I think he's only going to get better in that area. Also just a complete player who can play with or without the ball. He's not quick and has a weird jumper, but his pull-up three is legit and he's really skilled in terms of his point guard skills. Makes great reads, gets to the right spots, great pick&roll passing and I think he's going to be clutch. He gets his shot off pretty quickly despite his form too. He reminds me so much of Lowry without the quickness Lowry has. IMO he should be a first round pick and people are going to regret not taking him in the first round. If VanVleet is as successful as he is, I think Winston can be better.

IMO both Xavier Tillman and Cassius are second rounders.

This is what I think it's happening in the 1st as of now

OKC trading 25th+28th for 16th to secure Poku

If thats how the first 15 picks play out I'm not opposed to trading back (although I like Poku more than the Terry/Scrubb combo).

If Portland trades back IMO we should come away with Woodard (or Tyler Bey or Paul Reed) for some defense.

(I still don't want to use a FRP on Scrubb)

I'd be surprised if Reed is considered that high, not sure about Bey, doubt it

I think if you want a wing, McDaniels is the most likely one I left out, maybe Woodard ahead of Terry yeah, that could happen

That end part is the most difficult to predict but I am very confident in my lotto projections and some picks after that, including the POR/OKC trade, Maledon, Nnaji, Flynn and Bolmaro

I don't understand all the LaMelo Ball hype. ESPN trying to claim he's the best player in the draft, and all they show are clips of him throwing the ball ahead in transition (just like his brother). His game is just like his brothers, only he's a worse shooter and defender.

Yeah... I'll believe it when I see it. Hopefully he's an all-time great and were totally wrong but...

I see him either as a positive but low-usage contributor (floor general, game manager type point guard) or as a negative high-usage low-efficiency stats-on-a-bad-team type.

Which is a bad spectrum to be on for a top pick.

Not an all time great just the best on the ball creator/distributor in the draft. Obviously the jump shot determines his ceiling. He's a bit quicker and looks to have better handle and slashing ability than his brother.

If they were not brothers, nobody would compare LaMelo and Lonzo.

Poku isn't getting passed Kings. Spurs take him. Doesn't last pass Pelicans

Why isn't Paul Reed a guaranteed first rounder?

I have been waiting for more trades/info to be released before adjusting my mock, should I just adjust it to have Patrick Williams to the Pistons now. Seems like everyone is running with the he has a promise rumor.

I would love Poku in Portland. One of the few non-ready guys worth the potential payout.

Yeah it seems like the people who are really big fans of him just assume he’s going to be a better shooter and creator than Lonzo while everything he’s worse at will get to Lonzo’s level.

Ridiculous... Some team is going to get a STEAL with him anytime after 20.

More mocks and rumours are linking us to Saddiq Bey should we stay at #11. Can anyone convince me that he's the best choice at that slot? I think he's solid, and his character by all accounts checks out. I even like (though don't quite see) the Middleton / Prince comparisons. But is he far from what he will be? Couldn't we get a pick with a higher ceiling? Sell me on him, please. I don't know enough about him to appreciate room for growth on top of what he brings.

dont worry Spurs are not drafting Bey at 11. There are so many other guys they could draft. Bey would not be it. Spurs draft for fit more than potential and its usually some guy thats slept on that the scouting department has fallen in love with. Maledon wouldnt surprise me or Poku, terry, Vassel. I could also see Cassius Winston 2nd round if he is there.

Kira Lewis Jr is going to be so good in the NBA. Whoever gets him is getting a stud.

Ending up with Middleton or Prince type player with 11, in this years draft especially, would be one of the better 11th picks ever made.

Knicks should draft him at #28 and pair him with Robinson in the frontcourt. They'll block everything at the rim.

Just heard Jonathon Givony say the top 3 picks should be Lamelo Ball at 1, Okongwu at 2 and Okoro at 3. I could be completely wrong but that is the worst top 3 I have ever seen.
