I'd like to trade down, pick Haliburton(Okoro or Okongwu may be fine depends the pick we get) and S. Bey or P. Williams with the 17.

NBCBayarea Mock Draft will make Neeva very happy.

https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/warriors/2020-nba-mock-draft-210-first-round-pick-projections-final-week

However, It's biased so the Warriors can get Wiseman.

The thing that jumps out at me is all these players that there is no way they will be available at 17 are available at 17. Maxey and Tyrell Terry particularly. Poku also. We should stand pat at 17 and take who comes to us.

The draft that would never come. The draft with the longest intermission from the last to the next is barring a catastrophe going to happen in two days. I will be so glad to get this over with other than jumping off a bridge after we select Ball.

My problem with Maxey is he's not a PG, but he's way too short to be an SG. Classic tweener. Best case scenario he could turn out to be a CJ McCollum, but he doesn't shoot well enough for that. I don't see how he can work out other than some instant offense off the bench.

I read articles likes this just to remind myself it can only get better from the "5 guards picked in same draft" days :P

Gary Harris is an example of SG that is around Maxey's height.

Gary Harris doesn't suck. I thought he was taller though. A quick google search turned this up.
Height 6′ 4″, Weight 209 lbs
Tyrese Maxey
Height 6′ 3″, Weight 198 lbs

Pretty significant difference IMO.
Wingspan Maxey 6-foot-7.75 wingspan
Harris 6.625 wingspan so in that regard Maxey is longer. He could work out, but I'm sick and tired of us playing undersized players. It sure hasn't been working for us.

I'm of the belief that Edwards is the one prospect in the top three who if chosen would not signal to me that a trade is likely

In other words he will be gone prior to 17. I didn't realize he was that superior of an athlete.

holy moly :o ... nice 3pt-stroke for our new PF. Never knew KAT could shoot 3's either until he was drafted.

Would hate Edwards at 1. So many red flags. If we’re going to take him, at least move down to three to pick up another asset.

Completely agree. There is no sense in selecting him first overall when he'll still be available at no. 3, even if the trade is as little as Charlotte's second rounder.

Edwards or whoever we want most could easily be gone by pick 2. Taking a second round pick to trade down is idiocy.

There has been no steam about teams moving up for Edwards. It's literally been all about Ball or Wiseman.

And if Edwards is chosen by the Warriors, then Rosas can flip Ball for more assets.
