Presti has the Knick and Suns in a battle over the 35 year old max player. Presti is doing what Presti does best.

By this time next week the Thunder would have added about 3 future FRP, some pick swaps, a couple of FRP's and some bad expiring contracts.

2027 picks can be dealt on Friday. I would expect the Thunder to get their hands on one of them.

I don’t see okc getting close to as much as you do. Give me a general blueprint what that would look like.

Any chance we keep Oubre? Assuming a 3-4 year rebuild, he might be worth keeping a 24 year old wing around (even on an overpay) to see how he develops.

Looking into next year - we're going to have to pay somebody to get to the salary floor.

Only if they don't get what they want for him. All of these guys could play here. But, they will probably all be dealt for FRP's in this draft.

Wanted a pick swap but can't complain with the additional FRP

We don't have to worry about it not conveying like the Houston picks.

Yup. Phoenix is doing well but still some chance we end up with a high pick.

I wanted the pick swap to get a better player and accelerate the rebuild but it's good value. Fair deal for both teams.

is Oubre worth a late FRP on trade deadline?

I will miss Nader

which team could trade for Rubio? Any chance to get something decent in return? Not a terrible contract but he isn't a very appealing player

Clips would die for him. He's a very useful player. If Presti wants to move him I have no doubt he'll be able to find a willing taker.

Yeah...don't want to improve the Clippers (except if they offer us Shamet which won't happen).

A lot of better PGs in the market though

Mostly for my sanity and not having to watch him become a bum after 30 games. I'd make that trade 10 times out of 10.

More realistically, as part of a 3 team deal with russ being traded. Minor asset and some cap relief is all I'd ask. That's Assuming harden isn't being traded too though.

What would be the point of cap relief this year? They aren't trying to win, so signing someone decent isn't really helpful. And if you don't think he contributes to winning, him being around is a positive this year.

Cap relief presents an opportunity to use that space to pick up another asset later in the year.

Edit: it's important to note that I just really hate watching Adams disappear every year though.

Presti is freaking killing it. Also seems to be on a revenge tour to pick up every player the team would've been better with over the last decade according to realgm.

This. The pick going unprotected is huge. It provides a level of certainty we don't get with the HOU picks.

I was really hoping for #10, but this is great too. I assume 2022 is still the targeted double draft? Maybe 2023 now. Either way, that's a solid pick to have.

I love being a Thunder fan.

I've been thinking the same thing. lol I would've killed to have Gallo and Green on any of the Russ/KD teams.

If he signs Aaron afflalo he's GOAT
