DeMar DeRozan has opted into his $27.7 million contract with the San Antonio Spurs for the 20-21 season.
The decision was widely expected from DeRozan given the limited number of teams with cap space.
On the day the NBA season was suspended in March, it was reported that DeRozan would decline his player option to become a free agent.
The Spurs traded for DeRozan in the 2018 offseason as part of the Kawhi Leonard deal.
