ANNOUNCEMENT

I'm guessing that we are fewer than three weeks away from opening night for Build a Franchise Season 4. Based on last years release and what I've seen from Wolverine Studios timeline with the 20-21 season, I'm thinking we will begin simming games the first week of December. So a couple of things need to happen in these next couple of weeks.

First off, there are currently two teams (Indiana and Memphis) not at the minimum roster size (13). Each team will need to fill those minimum roster slots before opening week either through signing, trading or promoting from the EL if applicable. If a team does not have 13 active players on their roster by 11/29, a random FA on a $1/1 deal will be assigned into each open roster spot until the team is legal.

Second, each team can now begin submitting their lineup and minutes. A quick overview for any newcomers: PM's should include your team name and "Lineup/minutes" in the subject. Each team has 12 active players on game day.

Also, please submit your offensive/defensive play style preference. These options can be found in the rules section of our main thread and also at the bottom of this post. If no offense/defense style is chosen, the sim defaults to Balanced/Straight.

OFFENSE- Grind
DEFENSE- Attack

You do not need all 12 players that are active to get minutes or to have your lineup broken down evenly by position, i.e. you can have five PG's and two SF's. You can have as small as an 8 man rotation up to all 12 players getting minutes if you choose. Please make sure that each position is assigned 48 minutes. Like past years, the minutes have to be broken down in two minute intervals (no odd numbers for minutes played for any player). You can also assign overtime/garbage time minutes as an extra. These are defaulted to the five starters for OT and the five players who play the least (by position) for garbage time.

Also, each team has the option of actually breaking down who plays when if you have the chart from last year still. I will put a copy of the pic of what that chart looks like onto this post as soon as someone reminds me how to screenshot the page and then share it on imgur (Where's BK?)

COACHING SETTINGS

Team Offense:
1. Balanced
2. Pace & Space
3. Perimeter Focus
4. Post Focus
5. Grind
6. Seven Seconds

Team Defense:
1. Straight - (Basic man to man defense with no adjustments)

2. Switch - (Pick and Rolls will be switched nullifying the pick and roll while possibly leaving a poor matchup)

3. Attack - (Defenders will attack the perimeter helping to reduce three point attempts and allowing for more drives to your interior defense)

4. Passive - (Defenders will protect the paint area more by sagging off defenders. This will reduce drives and post passes but allow more outside shots)
