Is Bradley really worth more than 5m per year?

This seems a bit insane to me.

I could Bradley getting a TP MLE. 3&D guard, isn’t old, has shown in the past that he can be starter quality.

The real question is what the hell did Robin Lopez opt out for?

Both could have been trade filler against their wishes, going from a championship contender to a team selling assets. Control of destiny?

Hayward, Theis or Smart?
Hayward has yet to opt in.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-J327A using RealGM mobile app

He has until 5:00PM ET tomorrow. Ainge working the phones but is Hayward's agent checking backdoor sources with teams that have cap? Atlanta, NY, Charlotte and of the three I'd pick NY as wanting to make a Hayward splash. I think Miami is a player for Giannis. Bucks better tighten things up in my opinion. Losing out on Schroeder for a lesser pick than their own is not a good look.

I do wonder whether Covid issues are playing into some of these opt outs. Control over the team you play for sure but also where you want to be since public travel is more difficult, some environments more desirable.

I don’t think they would have given us as good of a pkg and Phoenix did but it seems odd they weren’t willing to discuss it.

if NO landed Hayward then he'd likely be rerouted to somewhere like Indy

Could be a push to get him to do something one way or the other. It’s believed in Indy that our brief flirtation of trying to sign Aaron Gordon was a ploy to get Thad to opt into the last year of his deal.

The man is serious about wanting out.

November 16th 2020 at 7:55pm CST by Luke Adams

7:55pm: The Rockets offered Harden the maximum allowable extension — a two-year, $103MM deal — but Harden turned it down, according to Wojnarowski. There has been contact between Houston and Brooklyn, Harden’s desired destination, but there’s been no meaningful dialogue, Wojnarowski adds.

Harrison had decent impact stats, I wonder why he isn't wanted?

Nope, it is literally just the Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie, etc. platter of mediocrity (hence Houston's lack of interest).

I think Philadelphia makes more sense as a realistic landing spot for Harden. They have Simmons and other big salaries and young players to make it work. Also Morey is there and Simmons + Embiid hasn't worked and probably never will.

Dinwiddie, Harden, LeVert, Durant, Allen -- Brown, Nwaba, Temple, Prince, Jordan

is better than

Kyrie, Harden, Prince, Durant, Jordan -- Brown, Nwaba, Temple, Kurucs,

I agree. If they want to hold onto Simmons so be it. I would want Horford, Richardson, Smith, Thybulle, Korkmaz and multiple future picks. Filler if needed.

Westbrook, McLemore, Korkmaz, Richardson, Smith, Thybulle, House, Gordon, Tucker, Covington, Horford

I think that team should be more competitive than any Nets package they send.

He can be traded as soon as the Chris Paul deal is finalized. However, his salary can't be aggregated with another player for salary matching purposes for 2 months (basically he can only be traded by himself).

This.

But since Phoenix is likely asking OKC to hold off on making it official (bc that’s obvious for Phoenix)... Presti has plenty of time to come up with a landing spot for Oubre+Whatever and make the deal into a three team trade.

Which does seem likely IMO
