What's the expected value of Bogdan's contract? I've seen 4/70-80 thrown out there...Really? I would've thought he'd be more in the 4/60 range. Idk if I'd want to pay Bogdan $18-20M/per for the next 4 years...and I want him badly.

Now we have to use #24 to get out of Bledsoe's contract? Come on people.

He has had a couple rough playoffs. He is still a first team all defense pg though. The Bucks might not pull multiple lottery picks for him but he isn't an anchor.

I just hope there is a route to get a 2b player next to Middleton. Something better than Bled, Brog, Bogdan or RoCo. I've always like the fit with McCollum. Both CJ and Midds are overpaid, but they are locked in 4 year contracts, have the same timeline and are exact the pieces you want next to Giannis.

Bledsoe, Donte, Wilson, #24, 2024 FRP (top 10 protected) is OK value for McCollum. Obviously you need a third team for Portland either to upgrade McCollum or break him into pieces. Hill/CJ/Midds/Giannis/Brook would be awesome for Milwaukee.

If other teams really think that, then you just keep him a few months and trade him mid-season. No need to act desperate. Things constantly change. The Bucks diminished his value by playing him with another terrible shooter, but they can bring his value back up and several playoff teams would really benefit from his defense.

I cannot stand Harden. I think he's a douche, and I hate his game. Also, I'd give my left nut to have him paired with Giannis.

Problem is most playoff teams have their point guard and the Minnesota's and New York's of the world aren't too desperate to make a splash on Eric Bledsoe day 1.

Indeed. Bledsoe is starting to be underrated. Find a better ball handler and shooter next to him (Bogdan) and his value goes way up.

Harden solves every single end of game problem for who takes the last shot, who can get to the line and make the free throws, and it would completely change the dynamic of walling off Giannis. Imagine a Giannis and Harden pick and roll.

He plays next to no defence and forgets he can score outside of the paint and from behind the 3pt line but yea him and Giannis would be incredibly fun together. Both would benefit from each other,

Bledsoe playing off the ball and Bogdon and Giannis controlling the ball might work very nicely. Bledsoe can cut, slash and set picks and play all NBA defense. He would be an expensive guy in a somewhat limited role but playing to his strengths would definitely help the team.

I think he has plenty of value as a 3rd guard to a certain type of team that needs his defense. I'm not saying they'll get anything good for him, but I very much doubt he's a negative asset. His salary is not too much for a guy who can guard at least two positions very well and is a good complement to any lead guard who can shoot. Teams like Utah and Denver desperately need someone like him, even if they have their starting backcourt set. Either team could find 25 mpg for him off the bench. Watching Mitchell and Murray go off in that series wasn't just about their offensive skills; it was just as much about both teams lacking a Bledsoe type to slow them down. He would complement McCollum or Lillard very effectively when the other one sits as well. Watching him guard Butler makes me think he could even play with them in a 3-guard lineup.

I mean yea he's good when he's getting posted up and has fast hands. Doesn't make up for him being a traffic cone in any other situation,

I agree. I think a late 1st and TPE from the Knicks might be our best bet for neutral value. That then becomes a tool to S&T for Bogdan.

If it is a barren market for value, that just changes the conversations. What does filler + picks net you? What type of package could Brook bring in? You try to rehab Bled's value around the league and flip him at the deadline. I just hope Horst is smart enough to actually sell high on a player when that time comes.

Why does everyone think Bogdan is a championship caliber move? I haven't watched him play much, so I'm curious. I don't see anything statistically that makes him look like anything other than a Brogdon replacement.

So does Giannis just not want to play with anyone that may be better then him? He's also an absolutely terrible GM. He's literally handicapped himself by forcing the team to resign Middleton and Bledsoe, saying no to Paul and Harden and who knows who else. Yet the team "needs to make the right moves."

Maybe the right move is shipping him out for a nice package of picks / young talent.

Ersan + Wilson + 24th to SAS for Mills
Hill + DDV (+ future 1st if needed) to SAC for S&T Bogdan
MLE Galliniari

Gives us a legit 7 man rotation. Maybe can get another impact vet on the cheap.
