lmao, don't lie to yourself. Morey would drive Simmons to the airport himself for Harden.

I agree if I'm the Sixers I wouldn't be in a rush to trade Simmons for Harden either.
Simmons is only 24 and on a long term deal. Harden/Embiid/Horford/Harris doesn't really look that great to me.
If anything I would trade Embiid and rebuild around Simmons.

What are you talking about? I don't think I was even active here during that era. Why are you thinking about a Mozgov trade from 2017??
And then next post you agree with what I'm saying.
Some weirdos on this board.

Depends on who remains.
For example: Claxton could still be here and he has a similar upside to Jarrett Allen defensively but higher upside offensively. Unfortunately, Claxton took a hard fall during the season and got a chance to showcase himself in Orlando but he’s the next homegrown star IF he stays.
TLC could remain and more minutes could result into him continuing to improve as a 3 & D wing. He was really good in the bubble.
Justin Anderson could be a re-sign candidate.
Tyler Johnson could be re-signed to the minimum with an increase due to rights.
We could re-up on Garrett Temple.
If we don’t deal the 19th pick in a Harden deal, we easily draft for need and take a wing defender like Desmond Bane if he’s available.
You obviously have more knowledge about the Nets. So how is Claxtons switching ability? also while tlc etc are decent defenders, when you go deep in the finals you need someone to guard the Giannis, Butler, Lebron/AD and Kawhis of the world. So leaning on those guys would be asking a lot. But **** if yall get Harden you might just say F it on defense and outscore the entire league lol. Even if you keep the same roster I think having lockdown guys around Kyrie and Kd is a must and I'm just not seeing it if you keep the same role players at the moment. You guys are in a great position though, and best of luck on your season, KD is my fav player at the moment so hopefully he comes back and kills it for you guys.

Bucks promised to get Giannis some A caliber talent around him. Getting Jrue is a good start. I wanted him or Lavine to BK, but the Harden talk paused that thought process.
OKC Thunder fan, too.

Re: Nets Going Forward: Planning for Next Season
Good for New Orleans, they could end up with a king's ransom type haul if Giannis leaves next offseason. Holiday is an upgrade over Bledsoe, but in not enamored with Jrue as the sole lead guard. Maybe he proves us all wrong, to date his best years have been in a co-PG situation.
I'm fine with continuing the Hunt for Red November with Harden. Even if we don't get James, I can live with the opportunity cost of letting Jrue pass.

Re: Nets Going Forward: Planning for Next Season
Wow, that haul for the expiring contract of Jrue Holiday, Milwaukee lost their minds and got completely desperate. No one was going to come close to that offer. The RoCo trade is just as shocking, and a clear indicator of where Houston is headed. This offseason should be a wild ride for better or worse.

The Bucks get one of our top targets + kill the trade market with an insane overpay. Perfect. Wtf do they do if Jrue leaves next summer.

If it gets Giannis to extend now, they won't lose any sleep.

Nets Going Forward: Planning for Next Season
Bucks acquire Bogdan Bogdanovic from Kings via S&T.
Bucks are making some serious moves. We’ve got to land Ibaka or some to sure up the front court.

Bucks also sign and trade for Bogdonavic out of Sacramento. Give up DiVincenzo.
I think they overpaid like crazy for Holiday, but hey, they're at least committed to their star and are doing whatever it takes to get him more help. I think Giannis re-signs now.
Bucks are looking ridiculous right now.

The off-season hasn't disappointed at all so far. CP3 to the Suns, Holiday and Bogs to the Bucks, Covington to Portland, and now the Harden drama.
