This is the trade thread. As of 9am this morning the NBA has lifted its moratorium on player trades.

Are you expecting fireworks?

IMO a s/t of BOgi might be all we see.

Hield/Barnes value might not be where we like it as of this off-season. Buddy’s perception took a hit with his benching

He will have more value IMO if he gets back to starting next year and putting up good stats, with BOgi possibly not in the picture.

My only problem with that is I want the Kings to rebuild and bottom out, but IMO Buddy is a quality player who can play good ball to his mid 30s

I see . I expect Buddy to be traded not Bogi . That said I do not expect Buddy Traded until draft day or slightly there after . I think we could get more for Buddy after the draft most likely as the value will go up a bit as teams that need a shooter and does not draft the guy the really want or sign and or lose a guy they want to sign or wanted to keep on their roster they lose out on .
If a deal is strong enough to land Buddy I am sure the Kings would pull the trigger whenever that is .

I really believe the most likely traded Kings this off season are Buddy , Bjelica , Joseph ,Barnes ( maybe ).

Just throwing this out there but I can see Buddy going to Houston in a deal were Harden goes to the Nets and the Kings Get J.Allen & some picks in a deal . I do not know the exact filling parts but I can see this happening .

Kings are still talking with Atlanta , Boston , New York

The Dallas rumors are very unlikely they have not much to offer the Kings of value outside from the players they say they will not trade .

With soime of the draft compensation sent out for the trades so far, we may need to sell sell sell right now. Holy Moly.

I’m really starting to think the Kings will be quiet on the trade front... even with Buddy.

I really don’t think Donte is worth Bogi, but that seems to be the only logical explanation. I mentioned on the T&T board that the framework could be something like Donte, DJ Wilson, and Ersan for Bogi. I want more though. I’m wondering if there a chance we can get who is selected at #24.

I'm high on Donte DiVincenzo. I'd do it straight up and be okay.

That would be glorious. At 24 there will still be a lot of prospects.

In a s/t though you aren’t usually getting commensurate value, although this market is a little different as BOgi is a top shelf FA in this market

Donte DiVincenzo is a stud. He has some development left so he could get there one day.

#24 went to N.O. in the Holiday trade.

Yeah and they would be dumping salary on us.

I'd of done it for a lotto protected within the next few years maybe in addition, but they can't offer us one.

Are we certain of that? The Woj and Shams tweets just said “future first rounders.” They didn’t specify if they were in this draft or not. Have you seen a specific tweet mentioning 24?

Are you ok with that and taking on the bad loot in Ersan etc?

Not nearly enough value at all if that is all we get . If we are doing this I hope we trade Buddy , Joseph and Barnes all fast

Get a lot of youth and speed so we can play at a really fast pace as was proven the year before we were great at doing & doing well .

I'm a big donte fan as well. I know getting a pick was unlikely due to his RFA status. But man... I'm gonna miss Bogdan for sure. Such a good player and gonna be rooting hard for Milwaukee next year. He deserves to win and get some national recognition

It’s a bummer. I love Bogi, but I’ve heard that Bucks fans love Donte. I’m glad we are getting someone who’s held in high regard. Trust me, you will love Bogi’s fire. He is a winner and plays really hard. He’s also pretty clutch and loves end-of-game situations. He should be a great fit on the Bucks.
