Exactly what Dan Devine said. Why would Sacto go for that? Do we have any magic beans to add?

I bet you figured the Bucks would have gotten more out of the Brogdon sign and trade too, which honestly they should have but sometimes sign and trades can be had for cheap, especially if a player signifies they wont re-sign with their current squad

My guess if it happens: DDV, DJ, Ersan and 2 future picks in the 2050s lol

Roster going to look a little thin

PG: Jrue........X............Mason
SG: Bogdan.....DDV.........Brown
SF: Midds.......Conny......X
PF: Giannis....X.............Thanisis
C: Lopez.......X.............X

What pick? Maybe 2079's still available in a pick swap?

Trade for Bogdan, sign any of Avery Bradley/Teague, Gallo, Wes Matthews and Boogie then call it an offseason

My opinion. I like Bogdan. But he's not a particularly "great" player and the minute he signs a near $20 million deal his value drops rather fast until he plays up to that deal consistently, which might not even happen. Maybe Sacramento says they have nothing in the cupboard and gambles on that. Maybe they say lets just get the value now without the investment and move on.

Honestly, I don't think we have the ammo to get him, and if we did, we run into insurmountable money problems next offseason. What should be the next move? Do we still have most of the MLE? If yes, maybe try to sign Burks?

Gallo indicated he may be willing to sign the MLE, looking for championships > money at this point. We should be selling him hard right about now if that is indeed the case.

I think the ammo is pretty much Sacramento not valuing him to that contract, Atlanta not willing to part with assets on top of the contract and/or Bogdan saying he wants to play for the Bucks. Really I don't think expirings and Donte is bad value for Bogdan at all and a possible $75 million contract isn't exactly a big plus. Honestly I don't even see it as like an insane "home run" for us but I think it makes sense.

I'm not getting into the money. If the B's want Giannis they should pay.

Donte, Wilson, Ersan and the Indy seconds are fair value for Sactown imo.

Yea it's an amazing deal for Sac - two more years of cost control over Donte plus they already have a lot of meh money committed to Barns/Buddy.

Hey, if we can get Gallo for the MLE, that would be a phenominal move. Do you have any link to him saying that?

Lasry will get it done with Vivek. They are closely aligned in many ways and Vivek has an interest in seeing a Sacramento sized market win a title.
