For basically a bag of potato chips.

This is a nice deal but they had no assets left after trading every pick for Jrue.

But how do they do a sign and trade if FA doesn't start till Friday?

Hahahaha. Kings still suck.

Why even agree to that?

That one's mind boggling. I guess it just came down to them investing in Buddy or Bogie. Still think they could've held out for at least a first rounder from someone.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Bogdanovic is one of those sidekick type guys who can also carry a team for a while in the right circumstances. An absolutely lethal shooter as well. PERFECT fit for the Bucks.

Probably won't be official until next week sometime, but it's agreed in principal based on conversations Kings had with the agent and then parlayed to Bucks. Back end tampering, but legal.

Nets and Sixers will need to make a move now.

Sixers need to pony up Simmons.

Nah. That’s just player agent stuff. That’s how he keeps his sources happy.

Can't get caught doing it. Hard to prove all the moving parts worked that way. Bucks can say they've just been speaking to their restricted FA while reflecting on talks they had with Bucks during the season blah blah blah. Nba would never enforce this type of tampering call.

I don't know how they get salary and value to match but the framework of a McCollum for Embiid or Simmons trade makes so much sense for both teams. Lillard Embiid and Simmons McCollum are strong duos to build around and you're not sending your stars to conference rivals.

white dante feels like an alright return for a s&t, i dunno

the bucks starting lineup is fully sick now but a part of me still feels like jrue/bogdan could slightly underwhelm relative to expectations. maybe thats just me being overly contrarian though. and i imagine they'll find a way to cobble together a decent bench even though they're depleted right now; contenders usually make that work.

IMO that's the perfect framework for Giannis. All these guys can handle the rock, shoot AND play off ball. Whatever the situation requires.

I love these moves for the Bucks. They really came through for the Freak.

You always hear people complaining how Chicago isn't a FA destination. Well, Phoenix just shot itself in the foot in that regard.

You don't sign a respected veteran FA to a long term deal and then trade him after one season. To a rebuilding team, no less. You just don't do crap like that in this league.

The Suns REALLY stabbed Rubio in the back here. The League - and future free agents - will remember.

Hope the 67 year old CP3 was worth it.

Bucks are pushing all their chips into the pot. I love their starting lineup as well, but they lost a lot of depth which really was the key to their regular season success. Starter minutes are probably going up if they don't make any more moves, but that may be a good thing come playoff time after what happened in the bubble this past year.

"Depth" was NOT gonna get Giannis to sign. And that was the main goal here.

i think the Holliday and giannis on the same team are going to wreck havoc defensively which will be nice to see in this offense minded league ....also with a lethat 3pt shooter they might be able to get giannis some 1on 1s in the paint

That's a huge move for Milwaukee and a very good partner for Giannis. They still need more though.

Definitely an upgrade at the guard but only a tier 3 guy imo. He will be very valuable guarding Kyrie and Jimmy in the East. Still not the star i think the bucks need to win it all and keep giannis.
