If he does resign, they Bucks should send out low-key press release "Bucks reach extension with Antetokounmpo" and let the media assume it is Giannis, they run with it and then realize it was Thanasis and then we all laugh about it when Giannis signs the next day. Everyone then exchanges Xmas gifts.

That's how I'm choosing to look at it, though I know some Bucks fans (including our beloved Paul Henning) are reading into Giannis' non-denial about what that clip is implying.

Fkn VP in the coy I work for, he's based up in QLD, aussiest looking/sounding bloke with 100% anglo name, and he's been telling me for months that he's half Greek. Still can't tell if he's taking the piss or not.

Got really close to telling him "well you never know" but I don't know him that well LOL

As a fan of a smallerish market team I'm so happy for you guys. Is Giannis officially going to sign yet. Congrats. Great moves and a title could definitely follow them.

So when could Giannis officially sign the supermax?

Sometime between Nov 20th and Dec 20th?

I'm just wondering (if he were to sign for 5 years) when we could potentially finally stop listening to the "Giannis is leaving" **** we've had to put up with for the last couple of years.

This feels like a draft day mini special interview w/Woj that's already been taped coming up. Not sure it's big enough or they'd want to do a Decision type of show, but a 5 min segment on draft day seems about right.

Hey I was in a greek quarantine the last few months. Did anything interesting happen to the Bucks lately?
Thanks.

Well hopefully we find out soon.. can't think it's going to drag out much past the draft if it's done. I think the only question is how many brothers were agreed to and are they 2 ways or roster guys?

I feel like the narrative pushing Giannis to leave is working against the media. Giannis isn't that type of dude and he doesn't appear to have much interest in talking more about his contract than his game. No way in Hell Giannis wants that distraction all season.

Haven't listened to them yet, but Woj is doing a multi episode pod about Giannis's draft. Checking it out now.

It's a nice easy listen... I hadn't heard a lot of the stuff before. Like I said, this is such a scripted puff-piece, hard to see how its not coordinated with Woj having an exclusive on draft night with Giannis signing.

Congrats, guys and gals.
Not a reverse jinx post. I'd rather you'd keep him than him going to the Heat.

Curious, why was the blur needed initially?
