LeBron James Never Received The Level Of Support Giannis Antetokoumpo Has Received In Milwaukee.

Post#1 » by Dino353 » Tue Nov 17, 2020 12:34 pm

I am happy fpr Giannis, with weapons like Holiday,Bogdanovic, and Middleton to work with there is no reason he should not re-sign with the Milwaukee Bucks. As for LeBron James he was tasked with taking down a 4 headed monster in Boston with Mo Williams. Mo Williams was a notch below Khris Middleton and that is the best LeBron James had to work with and we crushed him for finding a way to beat Boston. Giannis's wall to the NBA Finals will be Kyrie and KD in Brooklyn and I don't want to say any other East team because I feel Boston,Phiadelphia, and Miami could be making moves but Brooklyn will be a problem.

Jusr saying look at what the Suns have done for Devin Booker, James Harden received Dwight Howard,Chris Paul, and Russell Westbrook and still wants out of Houston. Kawhi Leonard forced his way out San Antonio while being under contract, so did Anthony Davis,Paul George, and Russell Westbrook. So why do we destroy LeBron James?

Cavs did a **** job the first round. Killed assets, bad drafting, bad contracts and no help.

But that was many moons ago. I’m glad bucks got giannis hell. Super max sucks though. Gonna be tight paying everyone.

Cavs have been a bottom 2 run organization but LeBron was so great so fast that it masked the problems. Those rosters in his first stint had no business being mentioned as a contender at all. It truly is amazing that in 7 years they could not get even one really good player for him.

The cavs tried , revisionist history doesn’t look great, but they picked up Ben Wallace (not far removed from being a great defensive player), Larry Hughes in his prime, Shaq, etc, the pieces just didn’t work out.

What is the point of making all these absurd LeBron threads? It's not the off season anymore, we have real NBA trades to talk about and tomorrow is the draft.

I always thought it was funny how players never really wanted to go play with LeBron in Cleveland. Like prime players. Did any all star ever request to go play with LeBron during the first stint in Cleveland?

i don't disagree with the bolded but it is the off season lol, the season doesn't start until games are on.

if it's not the PREseason, REGULAR season or POST season then it's the OFF season.

Lmao totally agreed. Just like the Lakers starting all the trades (Denis trade first domino to fall), LeBron James started all this team up, super team bull. & since he has discovered it, he’s also been promoted to assistant GM.

It's revisionist history to say they didn't try but it's not revisionist history to say the moves still sucked. Moves for guys like Shaq and Ben Wallace were terrible because they were over the hill and guys like Larry Hughes were over hyped. The Cavs did a poor job of getting LBJ help.

Hughes came off a year in which he averaged over 20 a game and was one of better perimeter defenders in the league. He wasn’t a good 3 pt shooter so not an ideal fit for lebron but to say he wasn’t a good player is again just looking at what happened after the fact.

Yes, Larry Hughes avged 20 points per game but I don't think any one viewed the guy as future superstar that would be a Robin to LeBron's Batman which he was brought in there to be. He was pretty much a Khris Middleton. A good player but not a second option. Larry Hughes was really a poor fit and waa pretty much a backup plan after they failed to get Ray Allen and Michael Redd if I remember correctly. The Cavs really did a poor job of getting LBJ help.

Thats not true, the Cavs had a 22 year old Carlos Boozer but nobody seems to remember that. He screwed Cleveland by leaving despite agreeing to stay for his next contract. So the Cavs could have had 7-10 years of LeBron/Boozer together which would have changed the narrative completely.

They also had Djuan Wagner who was touted as the next great thing but heath issues caused a complete collapse of his career.

It was SUPPOSED to be Wagner/LeBron/Boozer for years but that never got off the ground and left the Cavs with nothing but trying to pitch free agents to move to Cleveland.
