I just realized Budz has a chance to get the old gang back together for on last run at a championship. Teague, Millsap, Bazemore, Thabo, Korver, Carroll, Muscala (trade for James or Thanasis) are all available. Damn you LeBron for stealing Schroeder away from Budz!!!!!

Before these deals Giannis was my favorite athlete of all time. Aaron Rodgers a close second. But the fact that Giannis still wants nothing to do with the NBA diva types, or being buddy-buddies with the stars, just makes him, and the Bucks roster, even that much more likable. "Go out and get me Jrue Holiday and Bogdon Bogdonovic." Two players that scream "Giannis guys." All business. No flash. Usually when you give up "dogs" like Bledsoe, George Hill, Ersan, and to a certain extent Donte, you'll get softer/less likable as a team. Not in this case. Best of luck to Bled, GHill, Ersan, and white Donte, all extremely fun players/people who don't mind doing the dirty work. Very much appreciated all of them. But we upgraded our talent, without losing any "dog" or likability. I'll be flying high for awhile with this one.

So it sounds like we can use around $5 mil of the MLE give or take and then it'll be minimum guys and buying draft picks to fill out the roster. I think we should be fine for this upcoming season but it'll get dicey moving forwards if everyone re-signs as expected.

I'd buy a few 2nds, cap hits of $898k instead of 1.6m for vet

I'm sure that's the hope but obviously takes two to tango.

Pretty sure we'll have the full, non tax payers, MLE available along with the BAE.

I'd love us to keep Matthews, but I expect him to sign for the Lakers. :( Personally speaking, I'd want us to keep Pat and Korver. Other than that, I really don't know what I'd want us to do.

Ok, so it sounds like we still have 9,347,000 of the MLE left - roughly the same as we started yesterday with. And if we succeed at getting Leuer off the books, we'd have the full MLE. That gives us a chance to get Gallo, and my second choice would be Burks.

Gotta realize that the 2 backups on our roster might not be good enough to contribute even as backups. Again, we have squadush as our bench - nada, zippy.

Is the apron the hard cap? Or just more restrictions/taxes?

We technically do but it sounds like we don't have enough space to use all of it (at least not until we know the status of Leuer's money and whether or not we can get 2nd round picks).

Hopefully we choose wisely on the one decent bench player we acquire. :)

Undrafted players, buy second rounders, Marc got that wallet open. Going into the lux tax this year.

Giannis will draw the right guys on the cheap. People want to play with the Fr34k, don't forget it.

Immediately give Gallo whatever you have of the MLE to offer. Who cares about the rest of the bench. Just fill it out with ring-chasers and G-league dudes.

I believe the apron is the hard cap, and we have... serious problems for the 21/22 season.

Larry Sanders a camp invite, you say you want to play, you really want to be here? Come on the minimum, Bucks already paying your old contract yet.

Hopefully they're able to buy at least one, hopefully two 2nds tomorrow night. Some talent to be had. I'd look at Oturu (Minnesota C), Winston (Mich St PG), Bey (Colorado F), Hinton (Houston wing) and Markus Howard, among others.

Justin James also seems like a pretty decent get. Good wing size with a do-everything game.

Do we know for sure if our pick this year is gone?

I'd agree, but looking at the chart for 21/22, that would put us over the apron with just 7 players on the roster. Is that even legal under the CBA?

Isn't the apron just for the year you acquired the S&T player?
