I have Herro worth more than #6, let alone #20.

There is an argument that you dont move him for #1 IMO. He is going to be a stud.

That was not my proposal. It was 6 in a three team trade and the Hawks get Herro and 20, while Houston gets 6. Miami gets Harden and Houston would still have to get much much more. Maybe the Hawks include a 2022 protected 1st as well to go to Houston.

A sign and trade contract is different from a regular signing. If they agreed to a deal with him, he’s ineligible to be traded until January since they used bird rights to sign him. If they agreed to a sign and trade (and he’d have to agree), the contract is different, and if he’s not traded ASAP the deal is null and void. There’s no plausible deniability here.

I think you should make an attempt to view all of this as "What is the value of Giannis signing a 5-year Max". Looking at these players values in a vacuum while ignoring Giannis is missing the boat here.

To all my Kings fans fans and I know I have a lot---I have Buddy as a better player than DDV and don't get all the DDV hype really at all. Fine young player, but people have talked him up like he has Herro talent and he doesn't.

Herro will also be able to have his first legal drink in January when DDV is turning 24 the same month.

I know a lot of folks don't like to look at age, but DDV was always a more finished product to me. Solid contributor, but not a raw talent with a massive ceiling left to explore.

DDV has a ceiling no where close to Herro but at this point I think DDV is a better player than Buddy.
