Yes indeed.

Giannis was most certainly involved in these decisions at some level.

I think we have a nice starting lineup. Need Wes and Pat back or Gallo over Pat (dare I dream). Still love to see Wes on this team. :)

If Giannis signs the super max and stays healthy those picks should be tolerable...Otherwise it could get ugly, but in the near term it is certainly fun to be all in.

Some of those could be spicy but hey if the alternative was Giannis leaving next year then fine whatever.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

If Giannis asks for a trade after Brook, Jrue and Midds pass their prime, they're going to be able to recoup half of those picks when they trade Giannis.

Love that the next 1st is 2024, hate that we went unprotected on a few of them. That can backfire.

Yes, unless they go the “let’s stay competitive with some ready now players instead of picks” route. All too familiar.

Unprotected huh? Man. Well I guess if Giannis resigns and things fall apart in a few years you trade him for shiny new picks?

My worry is what assets are going to be there to keep the team afloat when dudes are all in their mid-thirties.

So we have our 2021 and 2023 1sts, with 2022 going to Cavs (top 10 protected)? I can't keep up.

We keep 21, 23, and 24 and give out the 22. We have our first rounder in three of the next 4 drafts.

Damn those unprotected future firsts are scary to be sending out.

Pelicans did us nasty even if this trade proves to be way worth it with championship banners in the rafters.

Seriously Horst couldn't even get a protection on that 2027 pick? That's really bad.

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

Maybe Lasry specifically wanted to trade picks that come under Edens' watch while he's governor.

This theoretically should drive up the price for Harden. Also, it was funny listening to Windy on Lowe's pod yesterday say that bids for Jrue might be "dwindling" or something along those lines w/ BKN focused on Harden, only have to have Horsty shell out

It's crazy to give up unprotected 1sts even if you know Giannis is signing. Who knows what kind of injuries could possibly happen.

For sure. Personally, I just don’t think you do that package for a caliber like Jrue. But to each their own. They better win a championship

Really hoping this trade doesn't end up like Ainge fleecing the Nets.

Jrue is only 30 but has an injury history. 2027 is a long time away.
