If that's legit, then Murray and Hield are going to kill each other.

Horford has to be going to NO in that deal or no dice.

No way. I wasn't even an Ersan fan when we first brought him in, but he was legitimately good in both stints. He'd definitely still provide value on a min deal.

Still think Houston is going to be stubborn and hold onto Harden and Westbrook until the deadline at least. Neither Brooklyn or the Sixers have a serious offer on the table.

I also believe Morey is a little gunshy about trading Ben Simmons two weeks after joining the organization. It’s a bold thing to do no matter how you slice it.

I genuinely believe he and the organization want to see Simmons and Embiid under a HOF coach before making any decisions.

We desperately need shooting to balance out the roster and this provides that. NO isn't taking Horford in any deal for those guys in which we don't give up multiple picks which we won't be willing to do.

I think what’s stopping Morey is I think he knows the cards Rox is holding, which is they really want Ben for Harden. Like not specifically Ben. But Ben is the best offer that makes sense for them.

That said, Rox wont pull the trigger without him refusing or countering any offer. That it would just lazy to trade Ben for Harden. Anyone can do that. Although I dont know if morey being here plays a factor with Harden putting is on the top of his list with the Nets as his preferred destination
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Disgusting

Seriously. I've been screaming perimeter defense/quickness/ball-handling for the last 4 years. Embiid, Simmons, and guards/wings. The team went in the complete opposite direction, we've seen it doesn't work, and you guys want...more of that?

No, no one wants more of that. We just don't see the point of crying and throwing a temper tantrum about it every five minutes like DT RAW simply because we haven't made any moves yet.

I saw some posts in favor of Love, that's what I was referring to.

Agreed on the temper tantrums, I just haven't been on here much lately and was throwing in my 2 cents.

Yeah, to be clear that wasn't to you. And I also wouldn't understand a Horford for Love swap. Just re-arranging deck chairs on the titantic type stuff.

ah yes, true to his "bully" name here comes the insults

I'm throwing a temper tantrum by not being oh so excited about this team right now.

boo hoo, get over it. Please tell me more about how at any moment we can trade harris and trash for harden

or better yet, lets revisit how godly our defense and post up game was going to be when we signed horford

so tired of yall acting holier than thou because you choose to make alternate versions of reality with this team, then condemn anyone who sees it for what it is.. that is hardly throwing a temper tantrum

I think that there must be changes in the roster but i wouldnt worry about the lack of any moves yet.

Stars are not traded that early usually because the teams want to make sure that they get the best offer. Moreover, early trades from teams that are under pressure to make moves (like the Sixers) tend to be overpays like the one the Bucks made.

It would be a downgrade too. Horford, despite the bad fit, is still a good player and at minimum, gives you a competent backup C. Love is far less flexible in the lineups he could be used in. He's pretty much a pure 4 that might not even be able to stay on the floor defensively vs good teams in the postseason.

I just really don't see Morey making that move.

3 years younger, 1 less year on his deal, fits better by position...

Agreed. It doesn't do anything to help the roster imbalance and he can't even give you the backup 5/Embiid rest/injury replacement minutes that Horford can. Love is also owed more money.
