If Clippers end up using the non-tax payer MLE, that means one of Harrell or Morris is gone as they'll be hard capped. I'm honestly not sure thats better for them, unless they find a Lou trade that brings back a decent big

This has to be Magic spin trying to drive up a Gordon price right? Covington just makes so much more sense for Portland and no way Orlando turns down 2 firsts for a guy every credible NBA reporter has been telling us for months has no market.

How credible is LegionHoopsRoss? If this is credible, what kind of deal would this look like? The Kings certainly won’t pay to trade Buddy as there is pretty much no incentive to do so. They are playing for the future now. Would it be something like Gary Harris and ‘21 First for Buddy?

Not sure really, looks like he had some points before. I guess, if Denver would go for it and if Sacramento likes Harris next to Fox, I could see something like Harris, Barton for Hield, Bjelica with picks included from someone. Sacramento could go with Fox, Harris, Barton, Barnes, Bagley? Maybe even some S&T of Plumlee to SAC if they want him?

This feels like such a mistake in this arms deal environment we find ourselves in. If I just watched Jrue return that I'm seeing if the Nuggets are ready to talk Porter Jr or if the Nets who have openly been saving assets for Beal are willing to take him for sure over waiting on maybe Harden or any number of other bidders.
Just get your haul and start over. Beal/Wall is just too much money and not enough impact for this to ever work.

That expanded deal that you mentioned makes a little sense if the team can extract more picks. I doubt Monte does it if he only gets one pick though. It hurts the flexibility that he’s talked about. I love Bjelica next to Jokic for sure. Plumlee would be a no-go on the Kings.
I really like Harris+#22+’21 lotto-protected first for Buddy+#35+#52. It changes the Kings into a defensive team with Divincenzo and Harris, while getting draft assets. The Nuggets get a sharpshooter for the future.

Perhaps waiting on Harden chip to fall?

It may be about to fall. General board just posted a tweet that Brooklyn and Houston have a verbal agreement.

The Brooklyn Nets and Houston Rockets are nearing a deal to send James Harden to Brooklyn, according to multiple sources close to FOS.
The deal isn’t “official”, but sources say a deal is in place and the two teams have a “verbal agreement.” Harden declined a two-year, $103 million extension with the Rockets so he could force a trade to Brooklyn.

Sourcing seems really weird. I am the first one with the story and the story is a bunch of people think it might be agreed to already?
