Twitter says Harden to Nets is verbally agreed upon. So he's out.

this again would be an awful move

Jrich was just essentially traded for butler, and was HIGHLY thought of around the league as one of the best contracts in the entire league and a break out candidate. Granted, we ruined all of that with our pathetic as hell roster construction, but he is worth WAY more than patty mills, and that deal would be horrific

Can't be too bad, you didn't even type 'horrific' in caps.

It would be ASTOUNDINGLY HORRIFIC

waiting for that woj/shams official. Houston about to get taken.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

It's possible that we were never seriously considered because he was hell bent on going to the Nets, but if we didn't get him because we refused to trade Ben, well, we have what's coming to us for the foreseeable future every time we play the Nets.

But why would the rockets trade him to the nets i really don't get it, are they that dumb?

Isn't about simmons either, you should just put him on the market and see what you can get.

Super emo reply. But anyway, I agree that Josh is the superior player but he's gone after this upcoming season & wasn't a very good fit this past season, IMO. I'd hope they could do better than Mills but he's an expiring deal with some playmaking skills and doesn't hesitate to put up threes. A younger player with Mills' skillset would be ideal.

The league is pretty much broken if a guy under contract for 2 years can not only demand a trade but demand it be 1 specific team.

Waiting to see how bad Houston got robbed. For Brooklyn, my guess is that Kyrie and Harden will play nice this year, but then implode.

this

this isnt throwing a temper tantrum, this is just the reality of things

I know morey is the best GM we have had since hinkie, and likely will be for a very long time. But if this team goes into the season as is, I mean... some of us think we have a limited window as is, we will just be wasting even more of it

Embiid doesn't have forever, and whether you agree or not, simmons value is likely not to go up from where it is at the more he plays, not to mention his recent string of injury issues

on top of that, I dont see Harris or Horfords value going up at all the longer we have them, especially if we keep this awful fit together and they all make each other's jobs harder

and to top it off, jrich is likely opting out next year and we could lose him for nothing

so the plan is what exactly? Wait for a team to give us a superstar for our spare parts? Ok

I agree, even worse than I expected if that happens.

I really don't believe that rumour.
