He only plays for solid, well run organizations? Don't get the joke.

Didn't he sign an offer from Charlotte, or was that just threatened?

He did and Utah matched it.

"Rural Indiana", "Mormon Utah", "Irish Boston" something something "white people" punchline.

I hope not. This forum has better taste than that.

I wonder if Charlotte is still interested, to be honest. Getting Hayward and Westbrook while keeping the third pick and Graham (possibly dealing the third pick for another win-now piece) would make them a fun team out East. Obviously not a contender, and obviously delaying the inevitable rebuild, but they could be fun.

I guess the question I have is... what does Hayward get on the open Market? Who's paying for him? I mean if he opts out there are only a few teams that can pay the man more than he would have gotten simply opting in (and being possibly traded) by Boston.

Well, OKC reporters did peg Washington as somewhere Russ wanted to go.

I don’t hate it for Washington. Beal and Bertans are absolutely prime running mates for RussBall.

The most obvious answer is Atlanta, 4/100 with team option in last season. 6 and 14 swap.

Atlanta has more than enough capspace to sign Hayward to that deal outright. No need to give up anything to Boston.

Atlanta would just sign him off the street and keep 6. That’s why I don’t think it’s Atlanta.

Assuming they're getting assets as "more" assets seems to indicate, I'm cool with it. If wall is washed, well, so is Russ, who cares, but if he's not, he's two years younger and less reliant on athleticism, so it's good business. Operating on the assumption the rockets are cooked, I'm for it

The 3rd pick and more for Gobert? But it seems less and less likely the Jazz move Gobert based on what Tony Jones is saying

Apart from some workouts stuff (Anthony worked out, Ball didn't), surprisingly quiet. They have big capspace and a desirable vet in Rose (and a meh one in Snell), so I have no doubt they're being active. Maybe just good at keeping quiet :dontknow:

Yeah Wall also provides a name as well, instead of just ending up with picks and guys no one has heard of. Makes sense.

Ernie would probably trade the Wizards pick to do Wall for Westbrook, not sure about the new guy though
