A) Mock out the top 10, noting any traded picks:

1) Timberwolves: Anthony Edwards
2) Warriors: James Wiseman
3) Hornets: Lamelo Ball
4) Bulls: Deni Avdija
5) Cavaliers: Obi Toppin
6) Hawks: Tyrese Haliburton
7) Pistons: Killian Hayes
8) Knicks: Devin Vassell
9) Wizards: Onyeka Okongwu
10) Suns: Precious Achiuwa

B) How many 2020 first rounders will get traded between now and draft day?

2

C) Who will be the biggest name player (not draftee) traded between now and draft day?

Andrew Wiggins

D) Who will be the biggest steal? Who will be the biggest reach?

The biggest steal will be Nico Mannion, the biggest reach will be Kira Lewis Jr.

E) Every year, some top prospect takes a huge and unexpected slide. (e.g. in 2019, highly touted (but injured) Bol Bol fell all the way to #44!) Who's the candidate for that this year?

Saddiq Bey

F) Which of these lower-tier PG prospects will be taken earliest: Kira Lewis, Theo Maledon, Nico Mannion?

Kira Lewis (he'll get picked 5-12 picks before the next of those 3).

G) True or False: this player will be taken in the first round:

i) Leandro Bolmaro - True (26th or 30th)
ii) Jahmi'us Ramsey - True (28th or 29th)
iii) Zeke Nnaji - False (around 35th - 45th)

**Not a prediction, just a preference: who (realistically) would you like to see your team come away with on draft day?

My team, The Brooklyn Nets, should trade up for Devin Vassell or Precious Achiuwa (unless one of them somehow slips to 19). I think they'd fit in great with their current roster.

My screen name most certainly is referencing what you think it is. Thank you for the warm welcome, though. Now all I need is to figure out how exactly this site works.

Two weeks until Draft Day in this crazy, crazy year!

I've done a few of these in the past, sometimes keeping score...but (like 2019's) I think this year's will be just for fun and discussion. (You are of course encouraged to post back and brag about how you did...or eat crow ;) )

A) Mock out the top 10, noting any traded picks:

1) Minnesota Timberwolves -Anthony Edwards
2) Golden State Warriors -James Wiseman (traded to Knicks)
3) Charlotte Hornets- Onyeka Okongwu (traded to Celtics)
4) Chicago Bulls- Deni Advija
5) Cleveland Cavaliers- Obi Toppin
6) Atlanta Hawks- Patrick Williams (traded to Pelicans)
7) Detroit Pistons- Killian Hayes
8) New York Knicks- Issac Okoro
9) Washington Wizards- LaMelo Ball
10) Phoenix Suns- Tyrese Halliburton

B) How many 2020 first rounders will get traded between now and draft day? 5

C) Who will be the biggest name player (not draftee) traded between now and draft day? James Harden

D) Who will be the biggest steal? Who will be the biggest reach? Tyrell Terry (steal) Aaron Nesmith(reach)

E) Every year, some top prospect takes a huge and unexpected slide. (e.g. in 2019, highly touted (but injured) Bol Bol fell all the way to #44!) Who's the candidate for that this year?

F) Which of these lower-tier PG prospects will be taken earliest: Kira Lewis, Theo Maledon, Nico Mannion? Theo Maledon

Grizzlies #40 C.J. Ellerby

Orlando Magic-#15 Tyrell Terry & #45 Cassius Stanley (although the Magic will likely trade the pick as always)

2) Golden State Warriors - Omyeka Okongwu
3) Charlotte Hornets - Anthony Edwards
4) Chicago Bulls - Patrick Williams
5) Cleveland Cavaliers - James Wiseman
6) Atlanta Hawks - Isaac Okoro
7) Detroit Pistons - Killian Hayes
8) New York Knicks - Kira Lewis
9) Washington Wizards - Tyrese Haliburton

B) How many 2020 first rounders will get traded on draft day? 4

D) Who will be the biggest steal? Tyrell Terry

E) Every year, some top prospect takes a huge and unexpected slide. (e.g. in 2019, highly touted (but injured) Bol Bol fell all the way to #44!) Who's the candidate for that this year? Obi Toppin to the back end of the top 10 or out of the Lottery. I could see one of the mid-tier PGs (Theo, Nico, Tyrell) sliding.

F) Which of these lower-tier PG prospects will be taken earliest: Kira Lewis, Theo Maledon, Nico Mannion? Kira Lewis

G) True or False: this player will be taken in the first round:

I'm picturing our Front Office falling in love with his measurables and fit next to LaVine/Lauri. He just has too many question marks for me at #4 but so many prospects have questions that it isn't inconceivable for him to be had here.

I am really low on Deni Advija. Terrible measurables, can't shoot, not super athletic, a good passer but not great. I don't see him as a starter on a good team at his realistic ceiling and he doesn't project to be a good defender. He played in a league worse than college basketball except for one team...and he was on that team--poor competition. Dario Saric-lite.

Why do people keeping mocking the Hawks 6th pick to the Pelicans? We struck a deal for them for #4 last year, the chances of us doing a deal with them for #6 is mathematically 0.227%.

I think that was mostly due to rumours about Jrue Holiday. With him on Milwaukee now that prediction falls by the wayside.

Your list goes as far as ten. I ca nrespect that this draft is very unpredictable and truly is anyone's slot to be claim in spite of the experts and us the fans. As for RJ. He has some potential to either be a starter or a sixth man depending on the team's development coaches. That said, I can see RJ be on a team like the Nuggets, Jazz, or the Raps as possibilities.

I just mention it because he is the leader in the "this year's reach" category by a tremendous margin :) Let's see how our players do!
