Re: 2020 Draft Thread, Part 2
The more I watch Nate Hinton the more I think he ends up a top 20 player from this draft (maybe higher). He's just a winner and a dawg on defense/boards.
First time I watched him I thought he reminded me of Matt Barnes, and i'm sticking with "guard version of Matt Barnes" as my comp. Thats a good rotation player on a winning team.
2nd round targets:
Stanley (I think he goes 1st round though)
Hinton
Tillman
Marshall
N'Doye
Azubuike

"To be honest," he says, "I can't watch basketball."
"I'm still not really into it," he says. "I love basketball, yeah. It's what I do."
He's not entirely convincing. He says if he were drafted by the NFL tomorrow, he'd let basketball go. "Because you can do anything on the field," he explains. "You can spike the ball. You can dance. You can do all type of disrespectful stuff." In the NBA, he says, "you can't do any of that. You'll get fined."
So the only top prospect who makes sense is Wiseman.

Re: 2020 Draft Thread, Part 2
I started in on Edwards laziness a year ago..I remember getting absolutely ripped apart on WW for even suggesting there was a major flaw with his game..
The flaw is he doesnt like to play ..He just stands there for game after game..doesn’t move offensively or defensively and also hates to run the floor in transition..he literally went two full games without going for a rebound..a few fell in his lap and he grabbed the ball
Every now and then he gets interested and plays like a NBA star...those are the you tube highlights you all see

Hinton reminds me of Marcus Smart mixed with Draymond for his intangibles. Lets get it!

Draft wiseman or vassell.
Wiseman/chriss would be a great 5 combo.
Vassell has good size and atheleticism, shoots a more standard 3 likee klay.

Watching this Warriors draft special on nbcsn. Larry Harris said that two guys have separated themselves from the pack and he likes 4 or 5 others. Can't see moving back past 6.

I wish we could ever get the truth after the draft. If they trade down or not no matter who the Warriors take we won't know how they ranked them.

I always like preparing for the worst. That way I'm not disappointed. I'm prepared for anything tomorrow, like if the Warriors accidentally don't get their pick in in time and end up having to draft third. At least it'll finally be over with.

I remember Myers saying after the draft lottery that you only have to like two when picking second...sounds like they do.

Should be fun to see what they do with the #2. Probably JW, but who knows? Maybe they trade down and grab Okoro or Avdija, if they don't LOVE Wiseman or Edwards. Anybody but Ball, unless they're picking him for someone else. I'm thinking that maybe they package the 2 2nd rounders to move up in the 2nd if they find someone they covet. Really looking forward to tomorrow -- and the next 5 days. Go Bob!

Re: 2020 Draft Thread, Part 2
My only concern about Wiseman is he looks really slight in all the pictures and film I've seen. Like he'll get pushed around in the NBA, at least at first. But maybe that's just me. And he's still young, so he can broaden out in time. Even if he can only fill a JaVale type role for now, that would be a big asset for the Dubs. I'm pretty sure MN won't be drafting him -- unless someone trades up to get him -- which I think is unlikely, given the questions marks about him and teams that need players in other positions. He's not an obvious franchise-type player. Such is the 2020 draft.

No worries bro. He’s jacked now. Well over 250. He put in work since he left Memphis

Being reported: Bleacher Report, SB Nation
The Chicago Bulls have reportedly discussed a trade that would send center Wendell Carter Jr. and the No. 4 overall pick to the Golden State Warriors for the No. 2 selection in the 2020 NBA draft Wednesday night.
Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer reported the news and noted the Bulls would target Memphis center James Wiseman if the deal were completed. Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reported the Bulls have spoken to the Minnesota Timberwolves about the No. 1 pick, as well.

Re: 2020 Draft Thread, Part 2
Just to add to the Bulls draft day trade... I think Minnesota is pretty locked into Anthony Edwards. Towns and Russell pretty much run that team and they don't want Wiseman, Carter, or Ball.
I am all for the trade down to 4 and I would hope it's Okoro that GSW is picking.
