Oh, no doubt. But paying that much for a pending FA PG who can't shoot -- seems like they'll be feeling the pain in the years to come.

From my understanding Giannis had to approve the trade.

^that sounds terrible. I could see them winning a title in 2022 and then immediately reverting to an aging, capped out mess with no draft picks.

The Warriors are finalizing a trade to send OKC a protected 2021 first-round pick in exchange for Kelly Oubre, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal isn't official quite yet but it should be greenlit as long as Oubre passes his physical -- in March he had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. Oubre's acquisition helps Golden State patch up the hole in their roster caused by Klay Thompson's season-ending Achilles injury, and he should be a great complement to Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins offensively. Oubre and Wiggins both have the size and versatility to play multiple positions, which should ease any concerns about playing them together, and Oubre's arrival is bad news for Damion Lee's fantasy outlook.
