Chatter from where? It's most likely nothing. We aren't trading him.

I am pretty sure this guy is known for being a complete phony on having any sources.

man I hope - I was looking at that thinking we don't even have many roster spots for that.

I love Thybulle, but I love Zach and I need some more exciting pieces before I even think about that.

Would signal a team reboot and I'd hate to see Zach go, but if we can nab a couple of 1sts plus Richardson and Thybull, that might get me there. I love Thybull. Richardson is a 3rd quartile starter, but on a decent deal for the next 2 seasons. Don't know much about Smith's game. If the deal was coupled with a trade-up for Edwards, I might see the logic more clearly.

zhaire smith is a lost cause at this point. was drafted with a ton of that 'potential' everyone always loves and he hasn't lived up to it at all. he has had some injuries, but has also spent a good amount of time in the g-league and hasn't put things together. he's salary filler, not much more.

thybull and j-rich with picks coming back wouldn't be a bad haul at all. i'd also hate to see zach go before we got to see how he works with billy d, but that's a decent return with some good pieces that can be moved in other deals to shift pieces around pretty effectively. most deals i've heard for zach just make me cringe as it seems the return would be pretty low and moving him makes no sense at this point, but this actually isn't a bad return.

I’d love to dump Otto, Thad, and Sato somehow.

I think w the 21 FA class shrinking it makes sense to trade for a star.

If I could get Thybulle and some picks for Lavine I’d do it.

ESPN Sources: The New York Knicks are moving up in Wednesday’s NBA Draft, acquiring the Utah Jazz’s pick at No. 23 for the 27th and 38th picks tonight. Knicks are now picking at Nos. 8 and No. 23. https://es.pn/2UFLMad

love how they worded the headline to get knicks fans hopes up until they realize they're talking about moving up in the back end of the first round, not the front. knicks fans are just abuse victims at this point. actually feel legit bad for them.

That's a good move for the Knicks if they are working on a trading partner that wants to move up to #8, they can get a player or two and a pick in the teens and maybe end up with 4 players to add to Barrett and Robinson.

If multiple outlets were reporting I would be more inclined to believe it.

If by multiple draft picks they mean a similar draft pick haul NO got from Milwaukee, I’d be OK with it. Otherwise, that’s a very underwhelming package.

the only issue with the NO deal was the delay before picks hit, although granted it works semi-good for them because they have some extra lakers picks coming before that but those won't sexy.

I mean that is a ridiculous haul. I'd be shocked.

That's not an issue, that's the best part. Getting unprotected picks way off in the future is perfect for a trade like this.
