Me neither, I'll take him at 7 but as of now I just wanna stay put and hope for one of Hayes or Ball there.
But I just got a feeling Detroit really wants Ball and is gonna move up to get him

But this is indisputable: The buzz surrounding the Bulls becoming increasingly focused on Patrick Williams is intensifying by the day.
One league source even went so far as to say he’s under the impression that the Bulls have told the Florida State forward they plan to draft him should they not trade up from No. 4.

Williams must be legit to scouts, just too much hype around this kid.

If there’s any truth to this, and if the Cavs go with Obi (as many are projecting), the Pistons could wind up with a choice of guards (Haliburton or Hayes), or maybe even one of those guards and Avdija.

His vision is insane. He has great size. And I think we need excitement. I’d rather swing for the fences and go all in on a polarizing prospect

Can't say I agree with you but he'd definitely bring excitement to our crappy team.

I think the brown trade might have to deal with tonight's draft. Basically a team trading x players contract and their 1st for that Toronto pick
Like a james Johnson/17 for that future 2nd

Re: Official 2020 Nba Draft Thread
I'm fine taking Ball at 7 but man if we trade a 1st rounder in the next few seasons I'd be so tilted. If they offered like 7 and Kennard/Rose I'd be fine with it though. This is the rare draft where everyone is looking to move down cause theirs no stand out prospects.

If that's the cost of moving from 4 to 2 then I wouldn't have any illusions about the Pistons moving up from 7 to 1 or 3 for Ball.
The Golden State Warriors are considering whether to accept an offer from the Chicago Bulls of the No. 4 pick and Wendell Carter Jr. for the No. 2 overall pick, sources tell Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer.
Sources believe the Bulls would select James Wiseman if the move up. If the Bulls stay at No. 4, it is believed they will decide between Deni Avdija and Patrick Williams.
It is unclear who the Warriors would target at No. 4.

Re: Official 2020 Nba Draft Thread
Ok Gents/Ladies?, it's time to put up and give your draft predictions and opinions...
Will the Pistons draft 7th or make a trade and what's the trade?
The Pistons stay at 7
Who do you want the Pistons to draft within reason (Ball isn't dropping to 7 for example)?
I'd be fine with any of Hayes, Okoro and I'm starting to warm up to Hailburton
Who do you not want the Pistons to draft?
Williams makes me nervous, I'm starting to cool on him. His tools are so raw and while there's a lot of upside, I'm not sure if I'm that comfortable with taking a chance on another project two years in a row. I wouldn't mind the Pistons taking a swing for the fences but he has high bust potential.
Toppin is too old, doesn't really fit into a long term rebuild plan.
Who will the Pistons take? (Give a sleeper too)
I think they take Hailburton if he's there. If not, they take Williams. Sleeper is Lewis.
I know it's a lot of questions but lets have some fun with it.

If the rumors are true, it feels like the new GM (and whomever is behind these kinds of decisions) may be fascinated with drafting a flashy prospect - even if it might mean overpaying to trade up - while ignoring major issues that may come with such a player.
Pistons still doing Pistons things?

I’ll play. My predictions:
-They stay at 7.
-I’d like them to land one of Williams, Haliburton, or Hayes.
-I wouldn’t want them to draft Obi Toppin.
-Hard to say who they’ll draft as there’s some potential for variability ahead of them. But by virtue of who’s left on the board, I’ll say that they wind up with Hayes.
-Two sleepers - Lewis and RJ Hampton (more likely in a trade down though). EDIT: One other sleeper - Avdija. With the buzz around Williams going top 6, wondering if Deni might slide?

Re: Official 2020 Nba Draft Thread
That seems like a steep price to only move up 4 spots in the mid 20's. Especially before the draft, without seeing how the draft board is shaking out at all.
This has to be a precursor for NY to get better ammo to move up to #1 or #2, right?

ONYEKA OKONGWU has a foot injury he may fall to us now. Think thats who I want. If not him I'll be content with Williams, Okoro,Ball, or Hayes.
