OO is faking a foot injury so he's there for us to trade down. The ultimate team player.

Boston wanting in the top 3.

Consider your team lucky as Tyrell Terry is a PG and not a center.

Would the Hornets take under considering of trading the #3 for multiple picks if the deal is good enough?

Hey man, ending defensive possessions isn't important. The more shots you give the other team the better. :P

Obviously would depend on what the picks are, but sure.

Well they can give us Wendell Carter and 4 for the 3rd pick if they want.

As I said before, I would jump on that quickly and then draft Haliburton at 4

However, they clearly would rather deal with GSW first if given the choice. Trading up to 3 still gives teams like the Knicks or Pistons the opportunity to trade with GSW and get ahead of them for Ball

Hornets do not need multiple picks in this draft. If teams are offering 2021/2022 firsts along with a lotto range pick in this draft, then I would listen.
Who I woulda took:
2023: Miller | 2022: Duren | 2021: Bouknight, Jones | 2020: Ball | 2019: PJ | 2018: MPJ | 2017: Monk | 2016: Damian Jones | 2015: Winslow | 2014: Vonleh, Napier | 2013: McLemore | 2012: MKG | 2011: Knight, Kawhi

It's weird knowing we will be picking within a half hour of the start of the draft.

Let's say they went that route, who are the other players you think best fit the roster to build the Hornets foundation?

If you are getting 3, and you're asking on behalf of the Magic, then we're probably talking more than one future 1st / swap. Not sure individual players are relevant.

I wonder about situational trade-down. If Charlotte does draft Ball at #3, it may be just to see if their preferred player is available later on, say, at #8, then make a swap. Something prearranged would be in order if that was the case. Sort of like Divac for Bryant back in the day.

I wont be upset at all if we take Wiseman, OO or Ajdija as long as we get something good with the 2nd and 3rd picks. I will be upset regardless of who we take if we draft Edwards or Toppin

Wolves fan here. Good luck with the draft today. Been following this thread, and I will say from a Wolves fan there is no way we get a trade package from you guys without a future 1st or Washington/Graham in there. Too many teams trying to get Wiseman (GS will draft him, Chicago is now looking to go after him), so there will be competition for that trade package. Not trying to start an argument here, just stating that some of the trade ideas on here that don't include Washington/Graham and/or a future 1st is not even going to be close to cutting it. We will just draft at that point versus desperation.

I'm not asking on behalf of the Magic. Just out of curiousity. I read something about the Celts wanting in the top three. All out of curiousity.

Hornets fan here. Good luck with the draft today. Been posting in this thread, and I will say from a Hornets fan there is no way we offer you a trade package to you guys with a future 1st or Washington/Graham in there. Too many teams sending out mixed messages and a lot of teams are interested in the top 3, so if the prospect we want is off the board there will be competition for that trading with us for the #3 pick. Not trying to start an argument here, just stating that some of the trade ideas from Wolves fans that include Washington/Graham and/or a future 1st is not even going to be close to cutting it. We will just draft at that point versus desperation.

I'd do Bridges or a top 8 protected 1st to move up for Wiseman. I think that is more than fair.
