President Trump told two senior Russian officials in a 2017 Oval Office meeting that he was unconcerned about Moscow’s interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election because the United States did the same in other countries

The Wayne County Board of Canvassers abruptly changed course Tuesday night and certified the results of the Nov. 3 election after initially deadlocking 2-2 along party lines, which could have delayed the state process for validating pivotal votes.

The deadlock decision had been lauded by Republicans but decried by Democrats. During a lengthy public comment session, the vote was described as a targeted attack on majority-Black Detroit, the largest city in the county and state.

I think people are misinterpreting Biden's words. He's not going to personally order an investigation into Trump, nor should he. But, like any law abiding citizen, he should refer any information he has about criminal behavior to his independent DoJ and let them do their jobs.

That's our Rex. He was on the first Wiz team I ever paid any attention to as a detoxing Knicks fan in last era when the Bockers were any good.

That was a great rant which may or may or may not have had anything to do with
those 2 board members reversing course and voting to certify. Phew.

TMZ speculating that Harden and WB want out of Houston bc the owner's a trump supporter. I don't buy it, but it's a nice thought. Anyone know about Teddy's political inclinations?

One would assume that any billionaire NBA team owner is a Trump supporter unless they state publicly otherwise.

Last I heard Ted was on "Team Blue".

An excellent editorial about the danger of "compromising" between truth and lies. You don't "compromise" with a flat earther by agreeing the world is half round. You don't reach out to Nazis until they stop being Nazis.

"We all know that you do better bringing people out of delusion by being kind and inviting than by mocking them, but that’s inviting them to come over, which is not the same thing as heading in their direction."

https://lithub.com/rebecca-solnit-on-not-meeting-nazis-halfway/

Definitely not me, btw. I came out of my childhood in dirt poor south west Ohio believing that when people are jerks to you, you punch them in the face or they'll just keep doing it. You can smile and snivel and try to convince your abuser to stop being mean to you. Or you can pound him into submission.

This isn't an argument about facts. It's an abuser/victim relationship.
