I'm not opposed to bringing aboard Oladipo. If it happens, so be it.

But I'm not against bringing back Nunn as the starting PG either. He's proven capable on many nights of being a primary option. And he's gonna get better.

FYI, I'm also ok with the team drafting a PG. Anthony, Riller, and others seem like they could come in and immediately contribute.

Then we draft the Next Herro/Bam hybrid.

Unless we're sending our pick for the Gallo sign and trade. Apparently we'd be hard capped otherwise and thus not able to offer the full mle to him.

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

Maybe the Celtics and Hayward are working on a buyout that makes a lot of sense. Hayward wants to get out of Boston and could keep $10 million by leaving the rest of his contract. Then, he can sign a new contract with Miami along the lines of four-years, $90 million.

Let's see, the second question would be if Hayward would even move the needle for us, from what I saw he wasn't the same player after he came back from that tragic injury. But at this point if we can have em for the right price we can use em in a trade to get something better down the line. People like fancy names.

Do you like this team while keeping the payroll flexible for 2021?

Edrice Adebayo
Danilo Gallinari
Gordon Hayward
Jimmy Butler
Tyler Herro

Serge Ibaka
Jae Crowder
Duncan Robinson
Goran Dragic

I like it might not look splashy (for some reason people just like big names without thought or concern on how they would fit/ what you would have to give up to get them), But it makes us more solid, a little more size, everyone up and down the roster shoots the 3 at a high level and compete on defense. We were just two games away from having a ring this year, with three rookie players and a sophomore(Which could be argued to be basically a rookie like he barely even played any minutes last season). We did while that arguably while arguably having the hardest road to the finals in the east with the exception of the first round, the only thing that would have made it harder would have been facing the raptors in the first round instead of the pacers. People really love to ignore that/discredit that including some people on here. Are we guaranteed as a given that we'll do it again this year? no Has the east gotten a little better this season? yes. But we've proven that we can shut down the leagues in his prime MVP, that we can get passed the celtics with two stars that average damn near 30 pts a game in the play offs. At some point people have to admit we have talent on this team, and some of it is only going to get better too.

Kyrie, Durant and Harden are a very questionable fit. Maybe they can figure it out and I eat crow, but looking at the history of Kyrie and Harden I doubt it will go well for them, The bucks got Jrue and bo but traded everything not named Giannis and Middelton to do it and now have to bring in 7 players on min contracts, I'm not sure if that gets the over the hump as the reason why we beat them is that we are just simply able to shut down and mitigate Giannis's impact and production. So far that's the onlything that's changed in the east. With the addition of Ibaka and Hayward I'd like our chances.

If the Galo sign and trade happens, the earliest that it can be announced is Fri when free agency begins and Sunday is the soonest it could actually be completed if I'm not mistaken.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Didn't the bucks recently announced their sign and trade 2 days ago?

Doo doo on defense by all accounts though.

Uneven to be sure but when he is committed he can be tough. Not endorsing him though $24m is $$$.

Oh, and to the point above about Kyrie + Harden + Durant being questionable fit... um, that's just not true. They would have Jordan at center too, right? That's a contender.

Signing Giles for front-court depth would be a good move. I'd look to sign Noah Vonleh too if possible.

If Olynyk is involved it has to happen after he opts in.

You keep up with the Kings well enough. How's the rest of his game in the NBA? His salary is a declining deal, so there is that benefit. Not advocating, just interested.

He can shoot really well and score on drives. The Kings are a very undisciplined team though and when they fall apart everyone is terrible. Hield likes to take chances on defense. When it works it's great. When it doesn't work... not so much.

The other thing... he's 27 so I don't see him changing his game drastically. The big question is do you want him to be a starter because $24m per annum is starter money and I think that's the real problem here.

If Giles and Gasol were the only pick-ups this free-agency, they would be great pick-ups. High IQ bigs on deep teams are ancillary to getting the most out of shooters. Gasol might be more far fetched, but least we have Kelly in that respect

Giles can kinda shoot too.

Still very young, big, mobile. Worth the low risk salary.

If we get Gallo and move Kelly, we really need another defensive big besides Bam. Sadly I didn't see anything to make me believe in Silva.

Yes. Also, if Galo signs first with OKC and then is traded, that can't happen until Sunday at the soonest.

And if tonight's pick is part of that compensation, the selected player will be in a holding pattern with Mia for at least the next 5 days.

Danilo to the Hawks? Pat can't even get this year's McBob. Sad.

I hope he does go to the Hawks. Never got the hype with this guy.
