Funny, the guy nailed something a couple years ago, Can’t remember what it was, and picked up a ton of followers, including myself. Not long after, he admitted in a tweet he was just playing, he wasn’t really an insider, but everyone ignored it.

Does Vin only get certain news but excluded from the Horford trade?

He never said he gets every trade. Never once claimed that from what I can see.

His claim is that he reports what he hears is being discussed and when he hears something is official, he tweets that too.

Did fl311 report Horford trade prior to it being official? Why hold one insider to a different standard than the rest?

I'm just saying...whether or not you believe he actually has sources...the dude said LaVine was the target last night. Nobody else said this. Then today our own, actual insider says the same. How many times can you get lucky in those scenarios?

I think this was actually the first time he mentioned Richardson actually.

Prior to that, he mentioned Horford for Love, Harris for Derozan, Harris for Wiggins were all being discussed but never felt they were close to getting done.

Then last night he says LaVine talks are moving along and a deal seemed likely.

Still hasn't called it official or a lock yet.

Only Sixers related thing I saw that he hinted was closer to being done was Zhaire to SAS for White, but he also said a deal was "in place", not that it was officially done. And then he came out and said talks were to expand the deal to center around Harris and Derozan. But again, didn't confirm anything as being a done deal.

I'm not sure it is even feasible under the cap and tax rules, but one can Vin-dream, right?

He wasn't wrong that they were shopping JRich for LaVine, our own fl311 confirmed that. He hasn't said anything else official from what I could tell regarding the Sixers.

Although I will say, I'm fairly certain he is wrong on this one because I think its not possible to do a sign and trade for the sixers right now based on cap rules.

And I do think Vin is a troll who also happens to sometimes get scoops from sources (whether or not they are reliable is another question). Because he does get stuff right, and its more often than he should statistically be able to pull off if he's just guessing random stuff.
