This makes me feel better about potentially taking Flynn at #21. His stats are pretty awesome. I just don't love the archetype of a small overaged guard w/out length or plus athleticism. But if the guy can play and do what he did last season in college, he's the kind of guy we need to play w/Ben and Jo.

Also really want the rest of the guys on your list in the 2nd round. Coming away w/2-3 of them would be great.

Using FTr or TS% for Joe is weird tho because Musselman at Arkansas asked him to shoot something absurd like 10 or 15 3's a game and from his off the dribble numbers a lot of shots were being created from his own hands from well beyond the NBA 3 point line. I think he's someone who projects as even more of a threat in a pro style offense with superior talent and better playmakers around him.

Yea, I don't think that really puts me at ease. It was clear he had legit NBA aspirations last year when he was chucking 8 threes a game. Usually when a player returns, they want to show more versatility in their game, not replicate it at a worse clip with worse efficiency.

So even if he has that capability in his tool box, we'll never know because his coach gave him the green light to spam threes.

For the record, I don't think he's a lost cause or he has no chance in the league. I just don't put him over other guys who hit most of the benchmarks that elite role players in the NBA did the year leading up to the draft.

nbadraft.net has Nesmith falling to #23 now. He'd be a tremendous fit if he falls into our lap. Could remove the need to trade for a guy like Buddy Hield.

I'm not a huge Nesmith guy, but I can swallow that pill over many other players around our spot.

Nesmith at 21 is quality. I wouldn't love him in the late lotto or wherever he was/is slated to go but just getting a contributor in the back of the draft works. He looks like he will be able to contribute.

Looks like he could be a great replacement for the JJ Redick role we failed to fill when he left. Assuming he's not permanently hampered by his foot problem.

2) Lamine Diane - G-League or Europe

3) Yam Madar - would consider as a stash, don't think he's even ready for the G-League physically at this time

I feel like we're going to double dip at Arkansas with Mason Jones and Isaiah Joe.

Like this is ridiculous how much their head coach is repping us.

But I also felt like that in 2018 with Mikal and Donte Divencenzo and neither came here

What do you mean oops? Got us the next Kawhi and a key piece to acquire all-star who's never been an all-star Tobias Harris, along w/the right to pay him $35M/yr!

I am 100% ready for Anthony Edwards to make me look like an idiot because he might not be in the top 10 of my big board. I don't know what everyone sees in this guy.

I think he'll be a decent starter at worst, but not convinced he's got the mental framework to justify being a top pick.
