Why? This isn't on him, this is 100% on SAC.

You may know the ins and outs here more than me so i'll defer but it is his job to make sure that the trade is complete before we mortagae our next 5-10 years for the other crucial piece of the puzzle.

Jrue by himself at that cost is kind of a disaster. With Bogey + extendion it makes sense.

Wonder if Atlanta made it known to him that they were planning of offering 4/80 or something and now he's trying to back out. Looks like he's represented by Wasserman - I doubt they'd be cool with this if he's actually backing out as they represent a fair amount of NBA guys

I think the "covering their butts" aspect of this makes a lot more sense to me.

Unless Bogdan had a serious change of heart or something.

Bogdan just found out that MKE, despite having a lake and a river, does not have an ocean.

Only reason I'd be concerned about this is it involves us and the Kings but like surely not?

Bogdon can't "legit" be part of any of this yet. So because its coming from the side of "Bogdon wasn't informed..." - its a cover your ass sort of deal from the sounds of it.

Hey, if the Bucks violated a rule, the NBA can take a 2089 FRP from us. Just approve it.

That's the only other possibility - Bogdan wants to back out.

Either way, I won't panic until Friday.

But what a **** thing to do to players like Donte, DJ, and Ersan. Won't make any friends doing this at all.

I have zero doubt that this will be worked out on friday ONCE FAs can talk to other teams i personally think the NBA got pissed at both teams and this is nothing more than posturing

Except Horst can't talk to Bogdan, he can only communicate with the Kings.

I am not freaking out about this because I feel like having Donte is a pretty good plan B.

I bet Riley is pissed because he heard Giannis is resigning. He then wrote a strongly worded letter about tampering to Silver. Bucks and Kings are now covering their butts.

Why would you be laughing right now? Aren't you a Bucks fan?

Didn’t get a notification for this. Odd.

You don’t find it the least bit funny that this was reported as done, all over the place, with a 20+ page thread here, yet nobody apparently told or got the yes/sign off from Bog? I think that is hilarious
from a “how can this even happen” standpoint. You hope this is a CYA tampering.

I can’t think of this happening in recent times, maybe once?
Go Bucks!

Chuck about change his name to Xerxes, rally Ersan and his clan, and reinvade from the Caucusus to avoid Greece.
