Why the hell wouldn't they wait to see who is on the board at 45? The might be someone we rate in the first round who slips? This is ridiculous to me.

you really think they would've brought in 3 rookies?

45 was always being traded or draft & stash player.

It's hard to even get excited anymore. It's not just the inactivity of the team, but even when they're active (2016 draft day trade of Oladipo and Sabonis for Ibaka) there's pain.
I should feel the same but I just cant help but be excited on draft day. In the back of my mind I know they are gonna mess it up. I just cant help it I love the draft

I have a feeling that Magic will select any of those 4 players: Kira Lewis, Patrick Williams, Devin Vassell, or Precious Achiuwa, I would be surprised if Magic does not not select any of those players

Because there are a lot of better choices before him? Matter of perspective I guess.

this was not a convincing argument

Yea see if someone falls down the board. But I guess they could pick up a 2nd rounder if they need to. However it's the do nothing twins we're talking about.

WOAH. I was in the same boat as you. But to share that type of stuff right before you get drafted....yikes.

What happens if he falls to us because of this?

Do you want to take him then?

Just wondering, because I was with you until I thought of this. Now...

So long as the Magic draft a back-court player, or off-ball wing, I am ok.

If the Magic draft Jalen Smith, Precious Achiuwa, or Jaden McDaniels, I will throw-up a little bit.

I’m confused. What happens in an hour and a half?

Because I’m already disappointed ...

Ok, how about we need a proven scorer/3 pt shooter and Maxey does not fit that description?

I think Maxey can be a good scorer. Hes not at the top of my list but I do like him

There is the key phrase "THINK CAN BE" I mean, we are the Magic. How many times did we draft thinking we can develop the offensive skill of a player? That is why I suggest not to be "all in" on Maxey because we should be tired of the "can be" and should focused on " already is" a proven scorer

Maxey is my top choice of players that could be available. He's a really good defender, has a great attitude, he can shoot way better than he's shown.

He's not falling to us. In a weak draft, something far worse than this would have to happen. Now, if for whatever reason he is there at 5 or 6, I hope we can get on the phone.

Edwards just trying to tank his way to a team he can be a focal point on, that is all this is. He wants CHA, NYK or DET or something.
