Why would you be laughing right now? Aren't you a Bucks fan?

Didn’t get a notification for this. Odd.

You don’t find it the least bit funny that this was reported as done, all over the place, with a 20+ page thread here, yet nobody apparently told or got the yes/sign off from Bog? I think that is hilarious
from a “how can this even happen” standpoint. You hope this is a CYA tampering.

I can’t think of this happening in recent times, maybe once?

Funny is not the word I would use.

If the league was going to put their foot down on some form of tampering (and if this is really a cya moment ), it makes them look foolish since they turn a blind eye on all the other shady obvious, crap.
Go Bucks!

Ok, mini freakout over.

This almost has to be to avoid tampering fines. You can't complete a sign and trade four days before it's legally allowed. Like 90% sure this is what is happening and 10% we're going to get royally screwed because it's about something else.

You may know the ins and outs here more than me so i'll defer but it is his job to make sure that the trade is complete before we mortagae our next 5-10 years for the other crucial piece of the puzzle.

Jrue by himself at that cost is kind of a disaster. With Bogey + extendion it makes sense.

Except Horst can't talk to Bogdan, he can only communicate with the Kings.

I understand you're taking a more level headed, pragmatic approach to this news but if Bog isnt on this team by weeks end and no one else of similar skill is brought in to replace him then heads will need to roll.

Not really worried here. As other people have said there's absolutely zero chance that Bogdanovic didn't verbally agree to the sign & trade after every major outlet has now been running with it for almost 48 hours. This reeks of pettiness from the league office for perceived "tampering" concerns (it happens all the time Silver, get over it), and nothing short of a Stern like takeover of the Kings' front office is gonna veto any trades these days.

Not sure if it matters but the deal hasn’t been announced by the Kings or Bucks. Media reports don’t equal a done deal. Eh?

It's not as much to do with Bogi himself, but rather that the Bucks & Kings weren't supposed to be able to agree to a sign and trade when the Kings aren't allowed to begin negotiations until Friday.

Technically, the deal was agreed to in principle and it was the media that reported it as done.

They couldn't have possibly announced it as it wasn't technically legal for them to even have agreed to it.

Pretty sure Bogi not wanting to sign is Bucks trying to get out of a tampering issue. Only way this trade doesn't go through is if league puts the hammer down :-?

Ok, this was definitely to avoid tampering related fines. Does the NBA have the power to step in and void this deal entirely or anything crazy like that?
