Looks like Patrick Williams may actually be picked ahead of us.

I wonder who would be Boston's target. If we could figure out, jump ahead of them and draft that player would be great, they've been drafting well at the top of the draft. I trust their FO a lot more than I trust ours to evaluate talent.

Take the smack and take the pics. They can almost draft a starting 5 each year for the next five years and get something right.
And they still have a decent player. Just overpaid. When you got nothing, that's the way to do it.

Now watch them somehow flip Horford for more picks to a contender. Presti should change his name to Presto, as he’s a straight up magician

ha!!!

I remember when we had the two for darko. I thought we should trade down to the third and add a future one. then trade down to the 4 with a future one. trade down to five etc. I wanted wade. but the team wavered and might have taken bosh.

I think if we do trade for a higher pick in this years draft, it's for a big man. wiseman. I don't think it's for lamelo. Lamelo could drop to us at 7 if we really wanted. wiseman and woods. then we need to work on our pg and sf.

Not necessarily all lottery picks, but first rounds picks nonetheless. They might become the most influential team in the NBA over the next decade +.

If lottery picks could get you championships, okc would have been a dynasty starting with the KD/Westbrook/Harden era.
Unfortunately theres other skills that it takes to win championships - like team building, basketball iq, valuation, asset management, etc
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

18 first round picks I think. Think it was 17 before this one.

Yes, that’s a given. But no team in the NBA is going to have more currency to work with than OKC.

Yeah, i'd gladly trade places in the rebuild process with them. It might not work, but they are going to have a ton of chances to find a few stars to build around.

OKC is definitely going to look to consolidate a lot of those picks into stronger individual ones.

They are definitely sitting pretty.

Nice.

Mine is Tony Snell to New Orleans for Eric Bledsoe, 24th this year, and Lakers 1st in 2021.

Why is New Orleans so desperate to get rid of salary? Arent they still rebuilding and can wait and see with picks and guys?

People can always be flipped mid-season too.

I would like the Pistons to get anything for Snell, but #16 or #24 seems incredible. I would happy if Rose + Snell got #16 and some g-league guys. Go full tank.
Im on board with this. Firesale this turd and get as many picks as you can. Trade everyone and sign on g league specials for next year.

Hahaha I love this. This needs to happen just firesale this turd!

So the thunder already have a considerable amount more young talent than us already, and 10x the firsts? its not fair man...

... so the thunder are definitely trading one of horford or adams because otherwise they're paying their center duo like $55 million this season.

So with this thread already on page 67, is this going to be the thread for draft night?

Hahah, just saw possible sign and trade of Gallo to Mavericks for a pick.

OKC, Im a believer!

Now it just takes one star who wants out. That team wants to rebuild. OKC trades a bunch of picks.
