yes he can. if SAC says we like Atlanta's package better and refuses to sign then that would end the sign and trade. That would force SAC's hand to take the Bucks offer over the Hawks. or just let him walk and get nothing.

THERE WAS NO PACKAGE BEING OFFERED! What was our package being offered? Exactly.

I don't if a package was offered from the Hawks. And neither do you.

So don’t assume there was one offered. Oh and I do, I have.... dun dun dun dunnnnnnnn wait for it... A SOURCE!

you have a source!!! sure if you say so. but I was not assuming that the Hawks did or did not make a offer to SAC. I was simply saying that if they did, and the Bucks made one also, that Bogdanovic (in a sign and trade) could veto any trade by not signing (hence why the word sign is listed first in the phrase sign and trade).

Sure. I didn’t mean to come off aggressively. I was just saying if we don’t know an offer was made then we can’t assume one was made, we should probably assume that one wasn’t.

It's a sign-&-trade with a new contract for him, so he could choose to sign or not, so unless I'm wrong, he did pick MIL over ATL, or he was OK for both offer, and SAC pick the trade offer from MIL. We can't know, but there was a rumor he was preferring MIL too...

He can’t PICK one over the other of the Hawks had no deal on the table.

Right, but it doesn't mean SAC did not say him that ATL may be interested (true or not), and that he said he'd prefer going to MIL, even before an offer would be made by ATL.
Yes there's was no offer, but no, we can't say he did not pick MIL over ATL because SAC traded him to MIL, as he as the possibility to do such a thing.
We are talking about two different things, that's all.

Welp, chances are Joe Harris is staying. Was looking forward to that. Probably not getting Grant either. Pain.

Lol if we get Gallo and Rondo this off-season I'm gonna need some meds. Let's hope it's just smoke to get them the deals elsewhere

I don't think I can imagine two worse FA for current roster

Gallinari's had a good season, but I don't see the fit, and he had a huge impact on OKC offense but a bad one on their defense. I would have prefered Millsap coming back than him if we picked a wing in the draft. Now, would prefer Hayward.
Regarding Rondo, I have to admit that he can fix our backcourt option providing AST when Trea in on the bench, and bringing defense, but the only possibility of him being happy is if it works almost from day 1,or at least in the first month I can see the full potential of the team and expecting more than battling for a playoffs spot.

Elfrid Payton just got waived by the Knicks. Think he'd be a good backup PG for us

I agree on Gallo. Especially at the price tag he’ll command. I am not as sure about Rondo. I don’t think he’s a great fit, but he’d at least play defense and fill minutes in a role we really need filled.

Question: if we get one of Hayward, Harris, or Bogey, is it redundant to go for one of the other two as well if we can afford it? Or should we go fill another position?

Only one if even that. Man, I don’t like Hayward, Gallo or Bogi really.

What's the consensus, would rather end up with Bogdan or Hayward?

I'm guessing Bogdan will be 4 yr 72 if we get him

Personally I would take Hayward if he took 2-3 years with front loaded desk and try to get Dunn. As long as keeping with one max slot for next off season...

We're not 24 hours into this thing, but if rumors hold true, the prevailing question of this off-season will be, "What happened, Travis?"

He's got some splainin to do. This was supposedly to be an off-season where we were signing guys "in their mid 20s" and/or "coming off their first contract."

Would take both of these guys if the somehow get on the market. I don't see that happening, though.
