Now's the time to argue Ned. Not against Chicago on that Hart called third strike now, when we're losing 8-0.

And that umpire is like "Is this guy serious? Does he think he's fooling anybody trying to argue?"

I will say that part of our problem with getting knocked around today is that this ump has shrunk the strike zone a bit.

Ned must not have wanted to watch much of this game for much longer. Either that or he thought he was pulling a Lou Piniella (wait a bit Ned until a game-affecting call has been made).

I'm listening to the Arrowhead/Mukwonago game for some reason. You really appreciate Brian and Bill listening to these two guys and then really wonder why they're only calling high school games.

At least we can boost team morale since they all get 6 innings to try and tee off and try to up their HR totals. I guess they do that even when the game is close though...

He was underachieving, but he has a .378 OBP with the Cubs, second best on the team. It's nice to have someone besides Lee willing to take a walk.

2001-2005.

I remember 9/11 at school. I was a freshman and going from my German class to my math class when it happened and some kids came in talking about it but our teacher wouldn't let us watch the news.
