Arsenal wrote:This is a good, young lineup that can grow together for the next 5-10 years. Ages next year:

PG Lavine - 25
SG ??? (hopefully Thybulle - 23)
SF Harris - 28
PF Simmons - 24
CE Embiid - 26

If we can keep shake and Matisse and add zach I’ll be SO HAPPY. Then chase Nerlens in FA on a multi year MLE deal and fill the rest with vets. I would be pumped for that.

Ben/shake/ vet
Lavine/Ferguson/ kork
Green/Matisse/ vet
Harris/ vet
Biid/ noel/ vet

Yeah it was gold. He's too damn busy for sportscenter.

He's been on some pretty **** teams too, and had a horrible coach last year. Dude is exactly what we need. Can get his own shot, 3 level scorer.

I'd also say playing under Doc, Joerger and Cassell, they wouldn't put up with that ****...

Lavine is still not the guy to handle the ball in the half court though. His basketball IQ is probably lower than Westbrook's.

He will raise Embiid's ability at least a little just by being somebody that demands attention on the perimeter.

Yea, I hope so. Just from viewing experience, I'd say he's a 2 level scorer. Seemed to hate getting to the lane. Maybe the stats say otherwise.

He's pretty clutch though. Maybe Morey sees something in him...

A lot of you guys seem to think Lavine is Curry or something. He's league average from 3.

He's not getting that here because he's not getting the ball enough to. So you're going to be sitting here wondering why we traded Richardson, Thybulle and at least one first for a guy getting 18 a game.

It depends on the asking price. Obviously wouldn't pay what Milwaukee did for Jrue, but something slightly less? It's worth considering. He would also like being here (at least per his interview several months ago) and I'm sure Ben and Jo would appreciate his skillset.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

Honestly, that's milking each asset for all it's worth on our side. #21 is going to be no real different than #36. Zhaire is unlikely to be anything. Richardson's value is his contract.
