Because our future was mortgaged on a core that was not guaranteed to come to fruition. The holiday deal without the Bogdon deal is nothing short of a dagger in the heart of the Milwaukee Bucks franchise.

So why is it Horst's fault if a player changes his mind?

Horst fired Kidd, got us off some awful contracts, hired Bud, built the team for Bud and Giannis. How are in-game playoff decisions by Bud, Giannis, Bledsoe etc on Horst lol

Uhhh because we don't have a future for the next 5-10 years or a team that's good enough to compete now that allows us to convince our franchise player to stay...

You've seen what he traded for Jrue Holiday, right?

Yeah I’m with chuck here on Bogdan **** us.

It’s good to bag the Kings and Bucks here for the lols but I can’t imagine they’re so incompetent that they wouldn’t have got Bogdan’s sign off on the deal (and a verbal commitment too).

What has likely happened is he and his agent have used it as leverage to get a better deal elsewhere.

Alternate theory, another owner complained about the Bucks jumping the gun. Adam Silver then was forced to call the Bucks and tell them they’d face a tampering charge and loss of picks (they already dealt). And the Bucks had to back out

It would be harder to justify the Holiday trade if this deal falls apart. The team fails again in the playoffs, then watching both our stars walk in the offseason while having no picks would be an all-time low point for me as a fan.

It would have to be a bigger back loaded deal to get it done, someone's pushing the price up big time

The trade for Jrue has no change on our cap, and anyone else doing a sign and trade for Bogdan will also be hardcapped.

Everyone is just avoiding tampering charges.

Your right but if we want to keep our starting 5 intact we can only pay him ~$14mil the first year of his deal. Atlanta can probably pay him $20mil if they want

I liked the trade but getting Divencenzo back is nice. Hes younger, cheaper and better defensively. We'll be fine.I'm not losing sleep over this.

The Holiday trade is the one I'd be crushed if it was reversed.

Guys, couldn’t this still be elaborate avoiding of tampering. It’s “dead” because it can’t technically happen yet anyways? I see that as more likely than dude backing out for a little more to play in **** Atlanta instead of with Giannis.

You guys that think he backed out after someone ominous phone call with Giannis telling dude he’s not signing are incredibly paranoid.

He either backed out for more money or it’s still happening. How absurd would it be for Giannis to tell dude, yeah don’t come here and make us better this year cause I’m for sure leaving next year. Lol

Woj was very specific. 6pm Friday. He was trying to tell us that this is by the letter of the law. This is procedural. I think other teams just wanted a shot to give him a pitch. I assume by Friday night unless someone comes over the top with an offer sheet in the 20s, this is done.

I hope.

How do you even know if it's not enough? What has Giannis told you about this.

You know the Jrue trade isn't official and completed yet, right?

Horst was dealt a **** hand and now we're a 60-win team. Apart from the crappy Snell contract I fail to see what more he could've done to elevate this team.

If its a "wait until Friday and then re-visit" I'm fine with that from Silver. If its a "you have to back out now", it will give the NBA anti-small market conspiracy even more ammunition

His catch n shoot was elite last year, he's fearless, plays balls out and would be a handy 2nd ball handler.

We are trying to beat AD/Lebron , Murray/Jokic, Doncic/Porzingis/star, KD/Kyrie/Harden or Embiid/Simmons/Harden, Miami Heat+star etc.

Players like Rozier are not the answer.
