Can't blame him for setting his family up for generations with 90m rather than condemning them to penury with 70m.

Well at least we'll still get to see DJ Wilson's half enthusiastic bench reactions

So why is it Horst's fault if a player changes his mind?

Horst fired Kidd, got us off some awful contracts, hired Bud, built the team for Bud and Giannis. How are in-game playoff decisions by Bud, Giannis, Bledsoe etc on Horst lol

Uhhh because we don't have a future for the next 5-10 years or a team that's good enough to compete now that allows us to convince our franchise player to stay...

You've seen what he traded for Jrue Holiday, right?

How do you even know if it's not enough? What has Giannis told you about this.

You know the Jrue trade isn't official and completed yet, right?

Horst was dealt a **** hand and now we're a 60-win team. Apart from the crappy Snell contract I fail to see what more he could've done to elevate this team.

Horst isn't without fault over that tenure but i;m not gonna spend a lot of time addressing your points. We all know whats at stake here and so do you.

The Jrue trade with thw Bogdan trade comes with a considerable amount of risk. Without it, it could be franchise suicide.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but didn't Bogdan have some weird thing or drama happen when he got to the league with the Suns?

Only two things make sense here

1. This is an elaborate ruse to avoid tampering accusations

2. Bogdan got offered way more $ from someone else and backed out

In order to come up with the S&T details they had to have had a specific $ amount to match. Windhorst even had specifics. That doesn't just happen

I don't trust the Bucks to pull of an "elaborate ruse"

There's still a chance Bogdan is 34 right?

No, he actually posted an article that Holiday and Bogdan don't meet the Bucks' biggest need of shooting.

Apparently a 37% high volume 3PT shooter doesn't qualify as a "sharpshooter".

My take is if this isn't still a ruse designed to get past tampering, someone came in and promised Bogdan a huge contract.

That what happens when an idiot leaks this move before Friday. Gives everyone a few days to try to pry him away before we've got his sign-off. If we keep this quiet, we could have gotten this done before any team had a chance to stop us.

I am getting some serious Déjà vu here. Does anyone have Bogdan’s yearbook?

So if it's a ruse are we assuming they're scrambling because the deal was reported as a done deal? Because why aren't teams like Dallas and OKC scrambling to refute the Gallo stuff?

Feels like #2 to me. Hawks are gonna swoop in and pay him $20+ million/year. He caved for the money.

I'm behind on this thread... I hope this was a ruse to get Robin to opt out.

My thing with the big contract coming from elsewhere is the fact that these offers have already been out there for weeks. It’s not like Atlanta or someone else didn’t already have offers until they found out the bucks had an offer.

I get that it's easy to blame us for the leak, but there's three sides that could have leaked it.

Couldn't help but LOL when I read the news. Hopefully just a procedural delay.
