The assumption is primarily based on the premise of Patrick Williams rising, Which subsequently would make someone fall. I believe that Okoro will go to the Cabmvs, IF they don't take Toppin. But I also believe that Toppin will end up going to the Cavs at 5, and Haliburton at 6 to Atlanta. Then Patrick Williams to the Pistons at 7, Hayes at 8bto New York, And Okungwu at 9 to the Wizards.

I think everyone here assumes it will be one of those guys.

I already mentioned the fact that since Nesmith has that injury (or injury history) and might drop, that would likely be a guy they might take if they trade down.

But I think most expected Vassell, Bey or Bane...or possibly Lewis until the last few days.

Okoro is new, and was mentioned by both Gambo and Flex...the Jersey Guys.

Then Gambo mentioned Avdija (could be the guy Flex was talking about dropping...but no one knows who will drop..of course they will take a great player who drops).

There's a difference between assuming as much and getting confirmation from sources.

Do you think he's talking to Jones, Bower or Bukstein? Or Monty? No one knows anything. The lead scout may be there but they have all their scouting reports.

He may be getting guesses from a scout based on his scouting report, but still doubtful and if he is, it's probably second hand.

But they are very tight lipped, so I doubt there are any leaks....just educated guesses, maybe based on people they know who know the players who might have an idea which players they have visited and like.

IDK, it is what it is. I do see its quiet as hell in here. But Woj seems to be barely ahead with his "Predictions". I think this new draft format is making it harder on him.
