Can Edwards play spot minutes in SF you think? Because I was wondering if he can play with Beasley and DLo at certain times.LibertyPrime wrote:The night is still young.
I'm going to hope that Edwards' comments were the product of a young man dealing with the stress of having to wait half a year more to find out what his future would be, during which time it was, basketball, basketball, basketball all the time. Other than that, he's the best fit of the top three given our current pick assuming we keep D'Lo as lead guard and with Beasley's future in doubt.

I have heard DWade comparisons too. I'll take either one, easy. Would freaking love a Donovan Mitchell caliber player on our squad. Those guys win you games, period.
Wade, Oladipo, and Mitchell were all incredibly hard working, high motor guys in college. Edwards has every bit the physical talent of that trio. Hasn’t shown even a hint at their heart though.

Sweet Jesus if he's Wade like? This is an all timer.
My brother was using that as a negative lol. He was like "You don't take a player like Wade at number, he's like a 5th pick."
I'm like... I don't give a damn, I will take Wade at 1 if that's on the table. There is no freaking Lebron in this draft as far as we know, I am will be super happy with a Wade.

Why? Ideal rotation player, but 17-18m a year for backup PG is bit much.Domejandro wrote:mercgold3 wrote:Feeling?_AIJ_ wrote:Were getting Ricky back!!!

Re: NBA Draft Day Thread
I fully believe there is a star in this 5-20 range, possibly the best player in the draft, I'm curious to see who it is.

Hell no.
I guess we can draft Green and McDaniels though.
And then one of Perry/Reed at 33.
Don’t we have too many players though?

HELL yes - upside is way too big to pass up. Will be a process and might not make it but gotta take the chance imo.

Re: NBA Draft Day Thread
Hope we really getting Oubre for #17...Guess our Simmons dream is over. Gordon dream is still alive. Might involve the #17 pick. Or just culver+JJ might be enough.
Knicks desperate for Obi Toppin, I think J Randle is gone..wont mind getting him. Let's see if we getting Gordon.

I do think that he's going to have to earn his minutes which is different than Wiggins when he came here.
