I really like O'Connor and the Ringer and trust his insight

O'Connor had Hayes at the #1 spot on his big board since day one.

Sucks that Okoro and Williams were gone, but Hayes was the best pick available after them so I'm satisfied with it
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

I was a Hayes fan from the jump. Nice start for Troy Weaver.

Bold as hell how they didn't interview our guy and just breezed on by basically after talking about him for 30 seconds or so..

Make em pay for that disrespect, Killa!

Yeah I've been keeping up with him and posted a few videos here and there with O'Connor talking about him.

For that last 10 years, Toppin would have been our pick. A new day has dawned.

Great pick, I think he's going to be a nasty lead scorer. My top 3 were Okongwu/Hayes/Ball

Isn't that how they got Darko!

First 2 years of Darkos Piston performance, he was roundly defended by Pistons posters here.

Nobody cares about Detroit unfortunately and the Knicks were up next, there was no chance they would get much airtime on ESPN.

Just feels the ceiling on bad shooting point guards is always pretty low.

I think he is a better shooter than the numbers he got a nasty step back and is a good ft shooter.

Hes also a good FT shooter which is usually a pretty good indicator
