Cam is good, but we still missed on Clarke, Herro and similar no-brainer players because of that pick. Reinventing the wheel once more.

Yes you did. I remember you mentioning Bane, but thought at one point more recently you thought it would be for sure Nesmith.

But I certainly remember you saying that about Jalen...high character, the 3 pt shooting, shot blocking, rebounding, efficiency, etc.

Can shoot, block and rebound at a position of need.

What is the knock on him such that he was projected around 20? seems as good as any other prospect, and perfect for us?

Figures the Spurs get Vassell. Celtics will probably get Haliburton.

Yeah, it helps when you make several predictions. I guess I flirted with Nesmith a little bit. But that Jalen post was legit. I felt that one. 8-)

The kid is going to be disciplined too. Dad was in the Navy. He's gonna be learning a lot from CP3 and Booker. Also some of his dunks are nasty. Got a feeling some are going to like him more than Ayton at least his tendencies.

Arguably doesn't have the foot speed to play the 4. He's 3&D, not really a dynamic guy, so not a player many would view as high-ceiling.

^this. Everyone assumes we had teams offering everything to trade up. Teams were probably happy where they were and so you take the guy you want at your pick, period.

If you’re a PF who can’t handle the ball, defend wings, or pass, then you’re probably just a backup C. Idk why I’m surprised though this is the same team that passed on Doncic.

As Flex would say (though he didn't mention Jalen Smith and he's certainly not a guy that fell), it was fluid...rankings were pretty fluid. Seems like he was as high as 13 at one point.

The thing is, there is not much separation between like the top 20 picks...outside of a handful of guys. Jalen Smith is 15 on tankathon's big board and 17 on the ringers.

Mocks might have had him lower.

Are you happy with the Jalen Smith pick?
