I only watched highlights for two players going into draft - Cole Anthony - DID NOT WANT and Tyrese Maxey, who looked like he could get to the rim and was pretty crafty inside 6 feet with an array of finishes, so works for me.

His release on 3s is looooooow.

That would be fine.

Or sit at 36 and let Flynn or Bane or Joe or Riller or Pritchard be the pick there.

There will be a pure shooter at 36.

They played this whole day correctly.

Wasn't that 101 years ago, at least?

I'd love to move back into the 1st. There's so much spice still on the board.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

So Brand traded Markelle Fultz for Tyrese Maxey. Maxey is probably better than Fultz right now.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Would have preferred a future pick to utilize later in trade but the Maxey has a chance. Not a big fan but decent measurables.

His release looks low but that can be fixed.

He's a guy that you can play in the last 6 minutes even in the playoffs and he's not going to be a target for the other team on the pick and roll.

Whoever works with him, make sure it's not the Sixers, or else that shot is ****.

I've never understood why the Sixers don't keep Herb Magee on retainer to come and work with the guys over the summer.

That's always baffled me.

Million dollar question... You worried about Maxey's shot like Fultz's?

Maxey compares to Cuttino Mobley. I actually remember Mobley. I guess...I see the comparison, but Mobley was a much better shooter coming out of college. I don't know, we'll see.

I was a bit down on Maxey mostly because his 3 pt shot is really low and is more of a push shot than wrist flick. He'll need some retooling. Otherwise, I like him as a total package prospect. Though rolling the dice on Hampton was really tempting.

Lowry and Beal seem like way too good of shooters for a comparison unless you have reason to believe he’s much better than the 29% he shot from college 3.

I wanna say Marcus smart because of body type but Maxey is faster and a better scorer off the dribble.

I just hope he can be like a Jamal Crawford type. High energy bench player than can give us 20 mins of instant offense a night

Maxey took some bad shots, shot needs work, but not weird as Fultz, plus excellent FT shooter, unlike Fultz.

Also not the first pick in the draft that we traded another lottery pick to select over Jayson Tatum.

Weird, stepped away for a minute and Nnaji and Bolmaro are the next picks?
